Okay, since I warned them, I'm not gonna do the spoiler tag, even thought it doesn't mean much. I'm fighting Cloud and Leon at the same time in the Coliseum (I'm around Lv. 55) and I flat out can't beat them. The best I've gotten is beating Leon,, and then Cloud starts flying around behind me and kills me before I can use curaga or hi-potion/elixir.

So, for those who have beaten these two "former" friends, any specific tips? Who did you take out first? Thx...

I can't quite remember but I *think* I went for Leon first, cos Cloud is kinda annoying with his flying around and stuff. The only tip I'd really say is level up more if you can't beat them. That's all I did, I think I was about in the 60's when I beat them, I don't have a strategy, just hit when I can, glide out the way and heal. xD

So yeah, there might be a good strategy to beat them where you are, but if you just level up a little more it will probably be way easier. And just determination! I always think, I've got this far, I can't die now! Just cure in plenty of time and if you have enough HP you'll be fine =)

I always take out Leon first, and then deal with Cloud. When he starts doing his flying attack, I normally just run in a large circle, which seemed to evade most of those attacks.

You can get some pretty good hits on him if you time yourself right when he does his jumps and tries to impale you with his sword. If he misses he'll have his sword stuck in the ground for a couple of seconds, enough time for you to whack him two or three times. ;>

One handy-dandy tactic to use is the Strike Raid abuility that you get from beating yuffie and leon in aother tournament. The only bad part is that you have to stand still to use it. Get goofy and donald to go annoy one guy while you use Strike Raid against the other. This move pretty much hauls a$$ if you use it right. Don't use ars-arcanum, because it uses up too much mp, and fighting cloud alone calls for a lot of cura spells.

First, have Goofy and Donald keep Cloud busy. Remember to have the Counter ability and that Block ability equipped. Get close to Leon and when he strikes, block, then counter. I think you can do a full combo. He'll then jump back and do a Braver(jumps up high and does a downward slash). Make sure to dodge this. Then, as quickly as possible, attack him. Just repeat these steps.

Now for Cloud. Goofy and Donald are most likely dead, by now. Wait for Cloud to do Braver. Dodge this. Cloud will take about 2 seconds to recover, leaving him totally vulnerable to attacks. Do not do a full combo, though, because he will counter. After 3-4 hits, dodge roll away. Get close to Cloud and when he attacks, block and counter. When he does that stabbing-dash attack, block and counter. When he powers up and starts flying, cast one of your Aero spells, run around, and keep dodging until he comes back down. He will once again be open to attacks, so hack away. Just repeat these steps and you will win.

Uh... I'm not 100% sure of this strategy, since I haven't played in more than a year.

Have goofy with ALL of the things that make him gain MP faster (MP rage, MP haste, etc) and MP Gift. Have dodge roll and ars arcanum on Sora. Just dodge roll around until you have a clear shot then run up to whichever one you're concentrating on first, and use ars arcanum. Repeat until one of them is dead, then just kill the other one normally. Goofy should keep you with ample MP with MP gift.

I was level 50 and only had Cura. Take out Cloud first. When he flies around, Dodge Roll over and over and over and over again! The Dodge Roll is a very useful defensive manuever and should be used as much as possible in battles like this. Cloud's Sonic Blade is lethal! Guard!!!!! With Cloud out of the way, Leon is a cinch. When he shoots fireballs, Guard them back at him. He will be stunned for a while and you can open up a can whole case of whoop-[explitive deleted] on him. After you beat them you get the Lionheart, Sora's 2nd best weapon.

Good luck!

I just finished that battle. It really isn't all that difficult. If you are having trouble with Cloud's psychotic charging attack, just jump up and glide over the battlefield until he stops. Make sure to take out Leon first. With him out of the way, Cloud shouldn't be too tough. Also, make sure Goofy has every possible ability to give him MP, and MP Gift. Cure EXTREMELY often, that is the key to surviving this fight. Finally, don't be too anxious to win the fight right away. Take your time and do it right. Make sure Goofy and Donald stay alive, because you need them to help see you through this battle.

I thought that Oblivion was better than Lionheart. oh well. also, curaga helps a lot more that cura.

Oblivion is one point stronger in attack power, but lowers MP by one. Lionheart increses MP by one and has a longer reach, and increases magic and summon power. Much better than Oblivion, in my opinion.

I went for Cloud first since in my opinion Cloud would be a lot harder to take down by himself than Leon. Just focus on Cloud and then roll away when you start to get low on health because I'm sure that Leon will come and blindside you alot. Roll away when your low on health and donald should heal you if he's not knocked out but don't rely too heavily on him healing you. Once you take out Cloud it should be easy to take down Leon.

I went for Leon first. His attacks are pretty easy to counter. You shouldn't have too much trouble with him. Cloud is a harder. Just watch out for sonic with dodge roll. Also use it for the flying part. Sorry I'm not of more help. Use cure alot.

Yeah, I beat 'em a long time ago, so there's not much point in continuing to post in this thread. I've beaten everyone but Sephy, and I probably could if I tried more. I got him to 1 hit to death, but didn't hear him cry Sin Harvest, so I was screwed. :p

The best tactic in kingdom hearts is guerilla warfare. Hit run heal. Except for ice titan and easy people.

Keep running away from Cloud, and attack Leon when you have the oppurtunity. After beating him, attck Cloud whenever he jumps, and sticks his sword into the ground, or when he just regularly jumps. After a while, he will fly around with one wing. Just try to run from him as much as you can, and try not to get hit.

So you need help with Sephiroth? Whenever he warps be prepared for sin harvest. He does it more often then not. There's a "cheat". Whenever he warps, fire a strike raid. It interrupts his sin harvest. Very helpful. Also you are invincible when you strike raid, so don't worry bout gettin hit. Continue the strike raid to judgement if you can. You should be able to beat him this way. Its probably a good idea not to try to counter his attacks as you'll almost always fail. And as always cure often and always have more health than sephiroth can deal in one health. Is sin harvest a one hit kill? Not in my book. Just use second chance. Of courseyou won't have any MP to heal so I suggest you use strike raid to stop it altogther. Anyway good luck with that.

Sephy does a little pattern: Slash-Slash-Slash-Flare. If you atack him at all, he'll counter with Flare. Don't mess with any Combo Plus in this fight; if you hit Seph with more than a 3-hit combo, he'll vanish and rip you up from behind. You can use Guard during his Omnislash-like move. Counterattack works well in this fight, it works as an addition to Guard. Just use it to save yourself. Have Elixirs on-hand for your first few times. Also, if he teleports to use Sin Harvest, you can Superglide or Dodge Roll (a lot) to reach him and attack while he's saying his line. Doing so will cause him to trip over and stop the spell.

Good Luck!
