Well I got those as Black Materia, and the voices in Cloud's head. So I get the whole Cloud being taken over, his issues with Zack etc. But I can't narrow that down to an actual answer.

Exactly what it is. Also, acording to one of the websites i went to, Cid means God. As far as powers devotion, Shera was the only thing really left, other then the rocket, that reminded Cid of Shinra, so Shera devoted her life to him. Hold tight not to fear= shera would not become upset when Cid yelled at her, knowing it her fault anyway.

Forever frozen in endless sleep (Sephiroth in all materia or weapon in northern crater)
Glow from the earth holding me (the all materia is made of mako)
A cause of destruction and disease (They both go on insane rampages)
A World of blue shealters me (all materia is blue and they are both trapped inside it)
The elements make up everythig (not too sure about this one but if you join all materia with an elemental materia it affects everything)
At first you may pay me no mind (WEAPON is sitting there through the whole of the speech but nobody notices him(or her) doesn't really link to sephy much)
But I shall become yours in due time (Sephiroth controls Cloud's mind and if it's ultimate WEAPON then it will become Ultima Weapon which is obviously Cloud's possession)

Ummm, no. princeofdarknez had a lot of the elements to solving the riddle, some parts near bang on, though the final answer is way off.

I'd probably recommend approaching the riddle from scratch though rather than trying to pick right from wrong too much. Also don't think too hard about the first two parts, as this is three riddles in one I tried to keep them simple (ish).

I think its a monster. Or a pair of monsters, rather. One monster executes commands while one doesn't (resists, even). They can be distinguished by gender. If you attack the female, that's what you should do, but if you attack the other, bad news. Or those last two lines could just indicate that they are monsters, and that if you side with them, that's good, but if you don't, you face their wrath - you fight them.

But I can't think of anything that fits this description. Bah.

The "Two go together" in the first line refers to both characters literally going somewhere.
