On amazon.com it says that ff12 will be released on 13 Aug 2004!! yay! just thought i'd say and get people excited and impatient, but then again, it will most likely be pushed back til next year sometime

Square has not announced a date or even a time frame. The game may not even make it out this year in Japan(depends on if they want FFXII to be their flagshipt title this year or DQVIII). That date is complete crap.

Last I heard though Square was planning on a March release for FFXII in Japan, unless they changed it ('m not real up to date on that kind of stuff)

If that is the case that date might not be entirely untrue (granted that would mean Square USA would have only 5 months to translate and get the voice acting and all that such done for the game) Although if it's true a March release for it I wouldn't be surprized to see FFXII out by Thanksgiving in the US then.

Square is releasing FFXII in the summer of 2004 in Japan... They have not published any dates for releases in the US and in Europe however.
