One solution is to use a better browser (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/).

As to how to fix the problem with IE: I don't know. I'm guessing something has screwed up Windows though. Or it could be a problem with whatever page you're trying to view if it happens to be the same page that makes it crash every time. :o

That's a normal Windows crash dialog. Reinstall Windows or something.

There was another patch for IE (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=70530968-b59a-47c0-90d3-0c884910bc97&displaylang=en) released earlier this month - you'll probably want to apply it whether you use IE or not for browsing seeing as IE is so much part of the OS. After that, I suggest downloading this patch immediately (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) as it will prove beneficial :p

Their pushing Firefox again, tut-tut, why do you never answer peoples questions.

Ok, this is not a virus or anything, and unluckly it means that an IE update you downloaded was dud, so the only way to fix is it to either run the uninstall program and re-install then re-patch. Else try the fix option, not sure how you get to it again, maybe it appears when you click uninstall, well hope that helps.

Oh and yes I do have firefox, netscape and IE, and yes I have no favorite!
