Do you often find yourself being corrected by others? I do. I dunno why but I seem to get stuff jumbled up in my head a lot. does this happen to you? yes I mean YOU!

Kind of. Sometimes I mispronounce words, usually ones that I know already, but have never said out loud until that moment. I don't correct other people on spelling errors and stuff, I think it's a little rude.

Yeah, I get corrected a fair amount. I'm usually embarrassed when it happens too. I don't know why.

Oh, and Bert, it's "You know you're right". (sorry, had to do it.)

This made me think of that song by Nirvana. Which i never did like. Frankly, i didn't like much any of Nirvana's work; i've little taste for grunge. It also didn't help that radio airplay gave them ridiculous amounts of oral lovin' throughout and far beyond their mainstream peak. i can hardly even listen to the stuff these days.

Anyway, i get corrected from time to time. Usually it's by a loud friend of mine who's as often wrong as not. Which isn't to say i'm always right, but it's annoying as hell to be corrected incorrectly so GRR.

I regularly get PMs from a couple of select people correcting my poor spelling.

I sent ShlupQuack one of those PMs once but she doesn't appreciate it because I'm Canadian. :</b>(

Yes; other people are superior to me.

I was going to yell at whoever said this but since it was RSL I shall give him candy.

Well I always correct people usually, especially in spelling. Out of all my friends only I can spell.

Although usually my friends 'correct' me on things I say, of course they do this to make me look stupid and in the end I end up being right anyways. :D

Sometimes, but I'm usually the one who corrects my friends and stuff... I can't help it! :D

I'm a walking typo :/ and my brain alway seems to pause at inconvenient moments. I think it has to do with knowing more than one language and using them all the time... words and sentences barely make sense typed and outspoken. I'm surprised I'm not dead yet.

I come across as a know-it-all. people correct me when I'm mistaken in my facts, and I think, at least, I'm pretty humble when it comes to things I know nothing of, like programming/repairing/customizing computers.

I am a naturally curious person, and a firm believer in the precept that the words "i don't know" should always be an impetus, not a resignation. That means when I say I dunno, I try and go find the answer because it makes me wonder about things.

No, not very often, but I do correct my friends a lot of times grammer and whatnot.

Not really. Whenever I am corrected it's usually a stupid detail that doesn't matter, and it's almost always by the same person. (Like, I could be telling a story about a car race I saw on TV and I'll say something wrong that's not important anyway, like that it was on at 2:30 when it really was on at 3:00) Ask this person who the first president was and he probably wouldn't know, so I don't feel so bad.
