pops outta the lamp and decides that YOU are going to be one of the best, if not the greatest, musicians of the history of humankind in one instrument and maybe some derivatives of it. He let's you chose the instrument, and after you have made your decision you can pour your soul into music and make magic.

So, what instrument will you choose? Can be anything you come up with, 'slong as it's something we can recognise as a musical instrument. I'm going with the traditional kantele of my native mythology, a kind of a box with strings, played on a pentatonic scale.

Or the organ. *_*

Piano. You can do a lot if you know what you're doing.

I'd go with Piano. Or church organ. Piano would be really cool, though. Or that Norwegian violin. I regret I never took any piano classes. It wouldn't be too hard to learn the basics though, I've heard?

And this is Kantele Nait is talking about. Mythology came from Finnish National epic Kalevala ( which also inspired JRR Tolkien, btw), where Väinämoinen killed a giant pike ( fish we have in Finland) and made Kantele of it's jaw.:)

It would have to be the triangle or drums. :)

a synthesiser/mix table combination for the making of magic!

good techno is awesome and is the equal of Celtic music in the generation of images and the provoking of thoughts. and you can dance to it!

Yeah Leeza, I can imagine you playing those. http://stat.livejournal.com/img/talk/sm10_eyes.gif *rolls eyes*

We were forced to play recorder and triangle in elementary school. >:o

Base Guitar for me. Not as important as the lead guitar of a band but still rather crucial.

Mouth harp.

No, Nait, I'm not making fun of you. I would never do that. :) Yes, I was forced to play the recorder, but I've never played the triangle. It sounds simple though and I've always wanted to try the drums. :)

Uillean pipes. Or guitar. Or cello.

Cello, because I always loved it, even though I hated the violin. Definately cello.

Electric guitar.

The acoustic guitar or the banjo, and I'm being serious. Banjo's are hotness. Or can my voice be considered an instrument? I want to sing!

I would play the TV remote. Or PS controler. I have no musical talent. I dont want any either.

i can't even decide. i have one of those "tap on everything ever made EVAR" obsessions with rhythm and percussion, so there's always the drums. But i do play guitar, and i would kill lots of small dogs and children to be a rockin' jazz guitarist. And then there's bass, becuase funky slap'n'pop bass is perhaps the coolest thing since whatever came before funky slap'n'pop bass. And finally, i'd love to be a virtuoso pianist because A) hardcore piano stuff is like musical orgasm and B) it'd be awesome for my tech work.

So yeah. i'd just find four lamps. :O
