well, CT have one ending when the king is dead, and instead of giving the queen and the thron to someone else, its the queen who marrige frog, and he becomes the king. now, in those times of 600 A.D. that wasent the way they treat, the wemon did not count, and when the king dies, she sposed to marry the heir of te king, and when the queen getting kidnapped, instead of finding another bride and continue the legacy, the legacy of the throne is stopped and marle died, and prodably, when marle will find husband, she will be the queen and her husband will become king (she might forced herself to fall in love with him, and forced crono to marry her <ps endding>), so, this time my question is, in the legacy of the thorn, is the wemon are the most importent?
(i could imagine it, ayla saing to kino:
"i queen, you king, i decied, you fallow", and kino, who's damn scared from ayla says:
"ok dear, you do i follow"
i know my english sucks.

The Queen must be subservient to the King. Her throne is shorter.

If the king is dead and there is no heir to to throne (ie: they had no child, the king has no brothers, etc) I suppose it would be alright for the Queen to marry someone. It would probably be a king from another country, or someone of noble blood, but this is a video game, and a high ranking knight wouldnt be to big of a deal. But, regardless, as dearest Kishi said, the Queen is always second fiddle to the king.

Besides, who says that the monarchy in CT is anything like any other monarchy we've seen before? For all we know, the Queen might devour the King after they've had children, like praying mantises. That would be sorta cool.

There's no indication of it being different, so you kinda have to go by typical monarchy. The queen's throne is indeed far shorter than the king's, and she has assumed the correct position that a queen would sit at in the monarchy we're used to. It has every hint of being typical.

Well, if there was no heir, and no king than the queen would be in control, and would have that choice, take Queen Elisabeth I for example.
