FF10 is the best as its battle system is great, its the only FF where you benefit from training more that 3/4 chars.
Its also got the best story ever told in a computer game EVER and great music.
FF9 is definatley the worst, the battle system is too restrictive, its cartoony, the story doesnt really make sense (Gaia/Terra not explained) and it is covered in moogles!! The only good thing is that some of the music is exelent. Its basicly a poor remake of FF6 and was a huge dissapointment after FF7+8
FF8 is quite good, decent battle system and story.
FF7 would be the best if it was remade, it needs decent translation, music and graphics.
FF6's battle system doesnt really start until 1/4 way through. I think you get too many espers at once and the main character dissaperers for most of the second part.
I only got upto the end of world two on FF5 but i like the class system. I dont think the story is too good.
My save got deleted on FF4 so i gave up...
FF1-3 graphics are so bad that they are unplayable
