British Comedy is funnier than American Comedy.

Considering that Johnny Knoxville is the antithesis of humor, I agree completely. There may be no one on earth who is less funny.

Johnny Knoxville can be funny sometimes, and I dunno about Dom Joly. I find the CKY videos far funnier than the Jack Ass series.

British comedy is very different than the American sort. Its hilarious as well, just in a different way, and I often prefer it.

Dom Joly. I can't help but associate stuff like Jackass and CKY with dumb kids at school. Trigger Happy TV's more funny humor, where Jackass is gross-out humor.

Oooh Dom Joly is Trigger Happy? Trigger Happy can sometimes be really hilarious, but also just be so bland sometimes.

I'd have to be really tired or half past dead to find even some of the Jackass/CKY sketches funny. So Dom.

Funny is funny. I'm willing to bet both those people are hilarious. Knoxville = jackass, and um, whatever he managed to do before that. CKY = hilarious.

British comedy confuses me, but then again Johnny Knoxville is overrated. Then again I have no clue who the other guy is. I vote Seinfeld

For future reference:
Dom Joly = Chubby guy from Trigger Happy TV. He prettymuch did it solo for the first season, then those three other people joined for the second. (at least for the episodes they show here in the states, it might've been different overseas.)

I've never even heard of Trigger Happy TV and I've only seen Jackass once and I thought it was dumb. However, the Kentucky Fried Movie is funny as hell.

I've heard of both, but have never gotten up the stupidity to watch either. And that whole not-having-cable thing. That'll kill ya too. Just watch Jeopardy and the Simpsons.

I used to watch Jeopardy until Trebek shaved. Now it's not the same.

I don't watch the new episodes. I can only force myself to watch the ones where Alex has his mousy. I cried for a week when he took it off. The thing is, you don't think I'm serious about that.

Dom Joly > Knoxville, but at times I think Jackass can be funny too, but when they're doing their lame "LETS HURT OURSELVES" stuff then it isn't, and oh crap, I forgot what parts of Jackass are actually funny. Hmmm.... makes you wonder why, doesn't it?

British humor most often sucks.

Yeah I'd say so too but there are a lot of wackos out there.

Jackass and CKY are more funny when they do skits, like Brandon DiCamillo's Skeletor vs Beastman in CKY. Or in Jackass, when they went to the Reinissance Fair and chased around dragon Wee Man. Hilarious.

Dom, I'm English, and thus have a penchant for our humour.

Plus, I've met him before, so I win.

One of the most hilarious movies ever made, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, hails from England.

I dunno, I prefered Snatch, especially because of Brad Pitt's unintelligable Irishman.

If y'all consider British comedy to be the stuff that comes on PBS on Sunday nights, may God help us all if THAT is funny by today's standards.

beastman vs skeletor was awsome!. CKY>to all jackass sucks but CKY are awsome. jackass is just a wannabe CKY
The first CKY was ok since it didn't have a lot of music in it but CKY2K is the best imho.

I really like British comedy and they do have a lot of funny TV shows. I can't stand Trigger Happy TV though, watched it when it use to be on TV but that was only cause there was nothing else onat the time.
I watch Jackass all the time and i think it's a real crack up. Johnny Knoxville really does make the show worth watching, haha as well as party boy..

Monthy Python and the Holy Grail is also one of the funniest movies I've seen, along with British shows like Blackadder, gimme gimme gimme (think thats what it was called) and the English version of Whos line is it anyway...

Not really.
Jackass is only CKY with more money.
It's the same people.

I've heard of Monty Python. I find his comedy to be average at best.

Making Johnny Knoxville representative of American comedy isn't too fair either. He's okay, but not that great.

Not really. Only two or three guys from CKY joined up with the Jackass guys. Mainly Bam Margera. Brandon DiCamillo and Rake Yohn occasionally show up, but it's missing most of the regular cast of the CKY flicks.

Ok. But I still wouldn't call them "wannabes".
