Which song is the most beautiful?

EDIT: And please state why :)

Don't mean to sound like too much of a nerd, but Melodies of Life would be at the top of my list. Also, 'Amazed' by Lonestar.

EDIT: Oh, I need to state why. Y'all have heard Melodies of Life. When it is played soft, when non-blaring instruments it's gorgeous to hear. And Amazed, just listen to the words and its power.

There are so many really beautiful songs in this world.
The ones that comes to mind right now are:

Stahlhammer - Bis in alle Ewigkeit
Rammstein - Mutter and Seemann
Megaherz - 5. März, Herzblut and Freiflug
Eisbrecher - Frage
Oomph! - Drop the lie, Dopamin, Filthy Playground, I'm going down, Hunger, Monolith, Rette Mich and Tausend neue Lügen.
In Extremo - Merseburger Zaubersprüche I and II, Melancholie and Die Gier
Metallica - Fade to Black
Weissglut - Wir haben nichts gemein and Ein Atemzug.
Silber - Heut' Nacht/Deja vu

Because they are all really beautiful and masterpieces musically.

EDIT: The song playing while on the worldmap in FFVI too of course.

Jimmy Eat World - Goodbye Sky Harbor

Right off the bat like this, the first piece I come to think of is Shubert's symphony no. 8 in B minor. Because... well, I don't know. It just strikes a chord with me. Listen to it and you will most likely understand my opinion even if you don't share it.

Queensryche - Silent Lucidity
Dave Matthews Band - Crush
Filter - The Missing
Lifehouse - My Precious
Metallica - My Friend of Misery
Pearl Jam - Alive
Chris Cornell - Sunshower
The Police - Every Breath You Take
311 - Amber

Among others, of course.

Atreyu - Lip Gloss and Black, because it has a pretty piano part.
Circle Takes the Square - Non-Objective Portrait of Karma, because it's all abstract and stuff.
Treble Charger - Red, because it sounds so sad and Canadian.

Its a great song, even though its aboot a stalker.

As for me:

The Rain Song - Led Zeppelin
Thank You - Led Zeppelin
Echoes - Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Shine on you Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-7) - Pink Floyd
Rhasbody in Blue - Gershwin
Piano Man - Billy Joel
Lost Together - Blue Rodeo
Harvest Moon - Neil Young

*sheds a single tear*

As for why I like em so much...they just so sound so nice to me, and its nice to hear soft comforting songs, with all todays wailing crap on the radios.

Someday, when I'm awfully low, When the world is cold, I will feel aglow just thinking of you, and the way you look tonight.

Damn Sinatra Bastard.

Smashing Pumpkins - Luna
beacause it's a powerful love song. Its melodic chorus and the line "I'm in love with you" at the end

Morcheeba- The Sea
because it's peaceful. Takes me away and enchants me

Rikki- Suetki de Ne
because her singing takes this track into the strosphere. plus, thinking about the love betwen Tidus & Yuna, this track backs that and is really melodic and soothing

Travis- Love wil Come Through
because i wish my love will come through and Fran's vocals touch my romantic core

Placebo- Alergic (To thoughts of Planet earth)
because i feel like that and this song draws me out, and it has to be a pretty beautful song to bring me back

Without You I'm Nothing - Placebo.
I love the way it reaches it climax with Brian Molko simply repeating "Without you, I'm nothing" cos thats just a beautiful message if you really think about it... such deep love for someone.

Zwan - Jesus, I/Mary Star of the Sea
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
Deftones - Minerva
Lamb - Gabriel
Ben Harper - Forever
Cranberries - Ode to my Family
Gemma Hayes - Lucky One (Bird of Casadaga)
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns
Portishead - Roads
Radiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out)
The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
The Whitlams - Buy Now, Pay Later
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms

For all sorts of reasons. Some of them are quite heavy (Minerva, Lucky One), but I think are still beautiful songs. There's just something about them.

Have you ever heard about 'Can't hold us down!', Christina Aguillera? It talks about the woman writes. It's really beautiful! And 'Sutéki dané' from Rikku, it's a theme from FFX

Yes, I've heard it many times and I think you're right. It's quite amazing, but I wouldn't call it beautiful though. Anyway, It's a very good song which talk about women rights and that's important to make people aware about.

"End Titles" from FFX (at least I think that's the name)

Well, the name doesn't tell much but whenever I listen to that song, it gives me shivers because then I always remember how the game ended. I love the game, that's why I also love the song....

Pink Floyd: Hey You
Enchant: Comatose
Blind Guardian: Noldor (Dead Winter Nights)

Ugh. "Just because I dress like a whore, act like a whore, and talk like a whore doesn't mean you should think I'm one." Have you SEEN the video?

Sigur Ros - The Nothing Song

I think some people are confusing good with beautiful. Eh.

And No Surprises > Bulletproof and Nicky. So HA.

...ok, with that terrific logic, I shall now go and kill fifty people, but say that just because I act like a serial killer, it doesn't mean you should think that I am one ¬_¬

Hah, that was my summing up that awful song, not my actual opinion. Hence the ugh and quotes.
