It looks as if no-one has a birthday today on these forums. Today being February 29th, a date that only comes around every 4 years.

My friends birthday is today, and he'd technically be 5 years old, but they celebrate it on the 28th on anyother year.

what about how much it must have sucked not having a birthday for the last 8 years? or did we have a leap year in 2000? I can't even remember.

It's my grandmother's birthday today. She's twenty years old, I think.

Yeah, we had a leap year in 2000.

When I was in elementary school, someone in my class had a birthday on Feb. 29. That's the only person that I've ever been aware of.

I know three people who have this birthday. One of them's my great-aunt.

And a quick trivia fact: Did you know the leap years don't come around EVERY four years? On the years ending in 00 (ie 2000, 6300), it is ONLY a leap year on those whose first two digits is a multiple of 4. So, 1900, 1800, and 1700 weren't leap years. 2000 is, but 2100 won't be.

In layman's terms that means that every new century has to be divisible by 400 to be a leap year.

O.o

It's my cousin's birthday today. She's 7, or 28. How depressing.
