Behold the greatest game in the world, when it gets released that is. The character roster will rule, it adds such unexpected characters as Zero from Megaman X, Earthquake from Samurai Spirits II, and Hugo from Final Fight. This will be the first game I buy when I get a PS2.

Any thoughts on this game?

Looks awesome. Street Fighter Turbo Revival should hold me off until then though.

I've played it in the arcade, and I can't stand this game. Capcom vs. SNK 2 was better.

Yea. This game has been out in the arcades for quite a few months now. I really don't like it, though. It plays too closely to KoF, which isn't a style I particularly like. It seems Playmore intentionally went old school style in everything. The look is very outdated and it seems to play very slowly. Like most vs games, it's unbalanced as well. I'm not saying it's horrible, but it's just a game I don't like that much. But if you like KoF, maybe you'll like this game. It just seems it was made years ago though it's actually quite a recent game.

It's taking soooo long to get released, I want it to hurry the *beep* up. I'd wanna see Genjryo and Zero on the same arena slashing swords, only dreams and drugs can produce that hallucination till now. Anyone know of its US release date?

I believe the US PS2 release date is sometime in September.

I as well. I have no idea what 1/3 of the characters are. I'll end up using Ryu, Akuma, Guile, and maybe Ken for fun.

Tessa is a Nightwarriors character

Violent Ken is somewhat the way Ken turned like Evil Ryu

Red Arremer is a Devil May Cry badguy I think.

Red Arremer--specifically, "Red Arremer Ace," since there's more than one--is Knight Arthur's recurring nemesis from the Makaimura (Ghouls 'n' Ghosts) series. He also had his own brief series of games in which he was known as Firebrand.

Here (http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/a/gng.htm)'s the ending to Dai Makaimura (Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts). Red Arremer Ace is in there.

Tessa isn't from NightWarriors. She's from some game called Warzard or something. But most people know her from Pocket Fighters.

Shiki is my fave character from SvC. Actually, Shiki and Ken. Though I suck at this game and don't really like it, when I do play, I use those two. I only know one combo with Shiki, but it's fun to watch.

Pocket Fighter is a chibi fighter game made of characters from Street Fighter and Darkstalkers.
