Some randsom person just added me to msn and I'm trying to hide from my school friends right now because I didn't do my group project homework, so if someone from school I can't add them back. But! I thought maybe this person could be from EoFF, and in that case I *could* add them (tho I dunno how they found my super secret address!), but I decided I must check first to be sure. So I went to memberlist > search to look up an msn address and GUESS WHAT? There is a search category for every field EXCEPT msn.

Fix this. Now!

unfortunately it requires hacking. but it should be rather easy for an admin to run a search on it for you.

If one of our more useful admins has the time and patience to add the hack it'd be fine with me, but in the meantime I would be happy to run the search for you if no one else is available.

how about i'll look for the hack on vbulletin.org tomorow so I can add it to FG too? then whoever wants to can add it here.

vB3 is making me ignore this place too much :(

Go ahead and post it, Aaron, I can't be bothered to work out the code from scratch myself, easier to take existing code then hack it up myself as needed :p

Don't like vB3, huh?

Yeah, vB3 lets you search custom profile fields, so we shouldn't have much trouble after the upgrade. I was surprised that MSN wasn't included with vB2, but then again, I don't use it since it's a horrible device. Still, yeah, I hate it when people randomly add me and stuff without telling me who they are.

AIM is spyware anyway, you shouldn't be using it :p Heck, AOL itself installs spyware for you :p

Otherwise vb3 looks completely different. And it's a lot better too, I'm going to upgrade FG over break even though that means rewriting all the hacks.

And I'd write the MSN search hack, but I can't be bothered at the moment since that's coming up in three weeks for me. If you guys really want it though I'll do it anyway.

And the vB3 test board has been making me ignore this place too. What a jerk.
