Okay, admit it: we've all cried at some point while playing FF. When has it happened to you?

For me, twice: in VII, when...**cough**...you know...**cough**...and also in IX, at the end, when Zidane runs up and hugs Garnet. But those were tears of happiness.

So, what FF games have made you cry?

FFVIII made me cry because I wasted 30 bucks.


I was gonna leave it at that, but eh. I got misty eyed during FFIX's ending.

FFVI got me a little choked up when Cid died and Celes jumped off the cliff.

The ending to IX... it always gets me whenever I watch it.

VIII can just rot. Everybody told me it was going to make me sad, watching Rinoa and Squall, but they lied to me. The only thing stopping me from selling it is that it's my brothers copy.

The only bits that made me cry a little - or come very close, were the end of FFIX and FFX. FFIX because I was happy-crying, and FFX because I was sad-crying ^^
Oh and *that* FFVII moment made me sad but I don't think I actually cried.

FFVII when Cait Sith sort of "died" but didn't, as you all know what I mean if you've played it. Poor guy :(

MUCH sadder than the other FFVII death: Aeris's death that everyone keeps saying is sad.

I cried at FF6 when Celes wouldn't speak to Locke, even though I hate Locke, I just cried.

Final Fantasy IV. When Yang jumped in the room and sacrifised himself or the twins. or when Meteo was first cast or when you had to fight Kain he is my favorite character.

X's ending made me bawl like a little baby.

VI, I cried at the ending just because... it was ending! I wouldnt get to continue on this adventure with my little game friends!

And IV... a lot of parts.

I didn't cry, bu I teared up :/

When Squall caries Riona around to save her :( That was so sweet. FFX ending. FFX-2 super good ending. When Tidus finds out he's not ... you know ... "there". Aeris moment. *sigh* *plays FFVIII again to see Squall melt into a mush ball*

I cried during FF3j.

Only cause I didn't know a game with "Final Fantasy" in the title could actually be bad.

Some parts that were supposed to be sad weren't sad at all for me.

For instance:

FFV, the scene with Galuf. That did nothing for me.

Desh, that did nothing for me, but that's probably because I don't like that game in the least bit.

FF Legend, I don't know if the scene with the Creator was supposed to be sad or not. If it was, then all I got to say is wow. Cool concept in that game, but pretty basic.

FF Adventure the end with the mana tree is supposed to be sad, but again nothing for me.

There's probably a lot more moments that were meant to be sad, but just didn't build up enough to do it for me.

I did however, find the scene with Aeris and Black Waltz and the falling Vivis from 9 to be sad though.

ok, stop ignoring aeris's death scene. i stand by my belieft that if u didnt cry there, u r either heartless or didnt like aeris 4 sum unrational reason lol.

ff6,ff7,ff9,ffx have all made me cry. i,m hard pressed to remember an ff8 cry scene and ffx-2...yeah right.

Aeris' death didn't make me sad, it just shocked me more than anything else.
