I got a PM from Calliope recently that got me thinking... what might I be responsible for?

Ok, I'm curious. Start the listings: engagements, marriages, babies, deaths, boyfriends, girlfriends... tell me.

EoFF is responsible for me having to look at :bou::bou::bou::bou::bou::bou::bou: everyday or atleats say I looked at it. And also I sit on teh computer all day reading posts so It's stolen what I had of a life.

It's responsible for me not having a life. It's responsible for over 1000 busy signals on our phone. It's responsible for FF Supreme **cries**.

Uhm... Nothing that I can think of. I've met quite a few people that I met through here, but none that I've really hung out with more than once or twice, and no boyfriends of any sort. No deaths. EoFF didn't get me pregnant.

Still a nice place though. G'job, Seanie Weenie.

Some wasted time, but also friends, good laughs and a place for me to mature.

Eoff is responsible for Daniel Towns leaving the country, and corrupting our National Anthem, and not paying enough attention to the people in c12 at lunchtimes.

Eoff means having people to harrass when all my usual friends are asleep, at work, at school, or whatever, and having uni/school friends I wouldn't've met otherwise.

Eoff is responsible for my learning to capitalize sentences when typing.

Hm. Thanks to eoff, I've acquired a collection of postcards, letters, cds, t-shirts, a peg and a spork. Random things.

I've also spent a ridiculous amount of cash on online time, phone calls, and stamps.

Interactions through eoff have resulted in the single most painful experience of my life, which eventually lead to the best thing ever.

I also scored a free trip overseas.

Choice One Sean!

hey, I want a free trip overseas!

Calliope
03-07-2004, 06:31 AM
Nah, you only get those if you also acquire an Internet Boyfriend crazy enough to get you imported :D

<3

Oh, eoff also Officialised my ownership of THE HAT! :hat:

my boyfriend is too cheap for that. I do have cool people I could hang out with in various places around the globe, though. Like if I ever canoed around the world with a piano!

Someone I met on the net is giving me a free trip to Italy. Should I take it if it's a guy (this is how Eoff helps me out :p)

Calliope
03-07-2004, 07:22 AM
Do what I did:

They'll probably be holding up a sign and stuff at the airport, so just wear a hat and coat and sneak past them. You'll then be free to hang out in Italy without the obligation. Choice One!

I've made quite a few friends from EoFF.
I decided to get Loony BoB exported/deported from Scotland so he can come back to New Zealand because of EoFF.
I've <strike>wasted</strike> spent around 250,000,000,000 hours of my life sitting in front of this computer because of EoFF.
I became an IRC whore because of EoFF.
I learned to script, IRC style because of #eoff.
EoFF got me pregnant.

At EoFF I met the worst person that ever lived but also the best so it got balanced out. It also got me a livejournal full of internet friends and one school friend whom I met through an internet friend (yes, I met a school friend through an internet friend okay!!!!!!!!!!). It also helped me learn that eestlic's boyfriend is cheap.

In my life, EoFF has been responsible for...

Four of my girlfriends.
Me moving to Scotland, the other end of the world. This was also the first time I had left the North Island of New Zealand.
All three times I have fallen in love.
Me and my now ex-girlfriend losing our virginity.
The happiest week of my life.
The second happiest week of my life.
A trip to California and two trips to Germany.
Free accommodation (for most of the nights) in the above countries.
Approximately US$1,000 in phone and internet.
A lot of hugs.
An improvement in my spelling and grammar.

Yeah, I guess you could say it's done a lot for me. Heh.

EoFF also sends me an email when someone posts in a thread I posted in. When I sign into msn and see all the glee of 12 new emails, I feel loved.

EOFF has been responsible for helping me make some new good online friends, making me get an LJ, giving me power (xD) and most importantly meeting my kitty *snugs Lindz* =D

For me, it would be only time I've fell in love ( hopefully not the last, seriously) engagement and almost one baby ( miscarriage), but that's all behind now for various reasons. It was the happiest time of my life so far, though.

I'm probably the most boring person here. The only real thing I've gotten out of EoFF is a fun place to hang out online. No really great friends or girlfriends or what not.

Though Bleys sent me a snot rag once upon a time, that was pretty cool.

- It's given me my awesome boyfriend
- A load of really good friends.
- Lots of laughs and good times
- Making me an LJ-lover. xD

:D Yay for EoFF.

Good friends, great memories. I had a boyfriend I met here, and I suppose I can thank EoFF for meeting my fiance, since we were introduced by a friend of mine from here.

- Me having an LJ.
- Entertaining me with drama, at times.
- Met some really cool people
- Good times

Haha, nice. EoFF is responsible for my personality, in one way or another. Dunno how, but I do know that it is. It's also responsible for my death... or it will be, at least.

I'd like to add few things to my previous post.

My English has somewhat imporved.
Because of EoFF, I got an LJ too, and really got into it.
I have no idea what I'd do in boredom if there wasn't EoFF.

EoFF affects/is responsible for the following things is my life:

Meeting a lot of really cool people that I like better than anyone else.

Getting in my first giant hateful argument with my parents

Me never giving my dad hugs anymore

Feeling to uncomfortable to tell my dad I love him (I don't know why. It's not like I DON'T love him. I just feel weird saying it)

Me getting a livejournal

Using up all 200 hours of online time each month

Starting to actually play more FF games/RPGs

Hating how stupid my friends can be (in person friends)

Having my brother meet Nicky

Deciding to take a typing class

I love you for....SOME of this, EoFF! :D?

EoFF has allowed me to meet some really cool interesting people, some of who even think that I'm nice.
The debates held here have opened up my eyes to a lot of different ideas.
Teenagers are people too.
EoFF was my first MB and has thought me every little bit of html and vB Code that I know.
I've learned that SODA is better than POP.
