How much do you pay to access the internet?

I got a CD for People PC internet access which costs 11 dollars a month. But I sorta learned how to mess around with the installation process to get free ISP usage.

Edit by Unne: I don't think we want EoFF to be a place which facilitates people committing outright theft. Use IMs or email if you want to break the law in some major way please. (Or better yet, don't.)

Right now we're on 6 months free from MSN. I don't know how much it is regularly.

It kinda makes me sad that these days people will do illegal stuff to save themselves $11. :\

Mine is $29.99 a month or something.

We got six months of AOL with our new Dell PC. It sucks so much they should pay us to use it.

I don't pay for my internet access. It's one of the wonders of living at home.

But my dad is paying $29.95/month for SBC Yahoo! DSL.

We split the internet bill, and I think I pay something like 20$ per month. So ~100$ because we (meaning myself and the ex) download a retarded amount.

Typically speaking broadband is ~30-40$ a month CDN

My dial up was $8/mo.

My DSL is $30/mo.

Netzero is a great service though. If you can't afford dialup, Netzero High Speed is great at $15/mo. Or go platinum for $10/mo.

£15 for 100mbps for 10 weeks - gotta love uni connections :p

Otherwise at home, I guess my dad pays around £30 per month for 576/288. Broadband is rather expensive in this country compared to other places. Heck, even dial-up is expensive - I was looking around the other day to see what I could use when I leave uni and it seems it'd probably be around £15 a month for a lousy 56k.

Cut your whinin'. I pay $70 for 256k/64k ADSL, and that's the cheapest plan you can get here. :(

I pay £34.99 per month for my rather reliable and super speedy 100.0 Mbps connection.

Trouble is, I don't really make good use of it. I'd best download some porn, then.

Something like $40 or $50 a month for cable internet. I don't even know.

No, you'd deserve it if you had money to pay for it. You get what you work to earn, and money is the tangible measure of how much you've earned, i.e. deserve.

At times I use Juno or Net Zero which is legal free ISP usage but its only 10 hours a month, I go through that pretty quickly and I use the people PC when I run out of time, Im gonna pay for it eventaully after I get my new job.

I honestly don't think 11 dollars is a lot for internet access. Heck, I can't even get a job at my age, but I could still make it off my allowence and pay for it.

Over here in The Netherlands, I pay 40 Euros a month, Which seems like a lot, but its unlimited, with about 100 kb/sec download rate... So I guess its cool....
