I know this is not FF-related, but I figured this would be the place most likely to give me an answer...

There was an article/walkthrough a long time ago (like 1995 or 96, somewhere around there) in a gaming magazine (I think it was GamePro, but I really don't remember...might've been Electronic Gaming Monthly or something like that, but it was one of the more popular magazines) on this RPG. I didn't give it much thought at the time, since I didn't have an SNES, but now that I have access to emulators, I'd like to play it.

The problem is, I lost my copy of the magazine. I would appreciate it if someone could help me name that game...here's what I remember:

a.) an entire town getting turned to stone (just the people)
b.) a female android who was 1 year old.
c.) some sort of supercomputer (I think it was named SEED) going evil and blowing up, perhaps towards the end
d.) Some kind of supersoft being required to cure the town.

I'm sorry, that's all I remember. I feel really stupid for losing that magazine, but I guess I can't really do anything about it now.

If there's anywhere else I might be able to find out what it was, please tell me. Thanks.

The whole town turning to stone thing sounds like Star Ocean. I haven't played through much of it, so I wouldn't know if it fit the other criterias; but check that out.

No, I don't think it is...it's a story set on one planet.

Looks like a cool game though.

Erm... one of the Phantasy Stars, maybe? That was Genesis, though.

I might've been wrong, and it might've been for Sega. Let me see...

EDIT: Nope.

The town turning into stone stuff sounded like Grandia, but the rest didn't...

Hey, it is PS4. I must have only checked part of the walkthrough. Thanks!

EDIT: Now, does anyone know where to find a PS1 rom download? I found one place, and that file isn't working on my emulator (but the other three games are...go figure).

I recall a town being turned into stone in Breath of Fire II or III...can't recall...though I'm not sure if thats it cause I never finished either of them.
