remember on sesame street when the show was brought to you by the letter R? Did you make it your mission that day to say ever word possible that starts with R? What if it was also brought to you by the number 2? Didn't that mean it was a surefire Star Wars day?

Yes I remember that... probably because I watched Sesame Street everyday, and now I have a young brother and sister and I work at a preschool.

Canada has sesame street. It *was* on TVO. Maybe Treehouse plays it, but I'm pretty sure it's not even syndicated any more.

No, I never thought of each day as a letter day, but Sesame Street is definitely in Canada. I've spent many years watching Bert, Ernie and the gang. The Count was my fav. :)

Kenya is in Africa.

Count was my fav too. That show taught me how to love my fellow man.

Oscar owned all those chumps. He'd be all "FUX U IM A FUXIN GROUCH DAMMIT" and he'd throw crap at you and be all "ARRR" cause he was a pirate but no one knew it. But I knew. I knew.

If you think you hate Elmos World now, wait till you have a 2 year old that demands to have it on every stinking day.

I did. I had to have Sesame Street on tape and it played over and over when the actual show wasn't on. It was still cool. :)

My favourite was Oscar's worms. They went to space! :D

While the Count was cool, those bats that used to sing that hung around with him were even cooler.

Bat-batty-batty-bat!

Oscar's worms. xD Good times.

My favourite was Sam the Eagle. But that was more the Muppet Show. I guess... hmm. I guess my favourite would be the Count... the Muppet Show was so much better. Wait. Did those guys with the honking noses and stuff appear on Sesame Street? If so, then I'll go with them as my favourite.

I was always perplexed by how a letter could sponser a t.v. program. Then I turned 5.

BTW: Oscar the grouch is the man.

Sesame Street was the best show. I pity anyone who didn't watch it as a child. I've tried watching it with my little sister recently, but it's nowhere near as good. I still like the old episodes, but the new ones are missing some of the characters, and there's no story to it anymore. Now all the time is wasted on the stupid Elmo's World and Journey to Ernie crap.

Elmo was the best. And no, I never paid attention to which letter sponsered which day.

I LOVED Sesame Street. Me and my friend used to watch it ALL the time, and talk about it ALL the time.
My favourite was The Cookie Monster. I loved him! I still got a figure of him. He is holding the number three and has three cookies. He so cool.

I pity the kids who have to watch Barney because apparently Sesame Street isn't cool enough. Big Bird could kick Barney's ass.

Barkley was my favourite character, I think. I even named my second dog after him. Go figure.

No, but I liked Snuffleupagus or whatever his name was. We named a puppy after him, once. And those two puppets were gay together, it's like a fact.

Tokki: wtf. Did you ever watch telefrancais when you were a kid? With the pineapple? (That's a canadian show we watched in french 2.) .___.

I never really watched kiddy shows with the people inside the stuffed animals like Sesame Street or Barney. I grew up watching cartoons. Although watching shows like that would have cool, if I was still 4 years old.
