Bored and just plain sick.

Well today I stayed home from school today sick. I was bored out of my mind literally. I layed down and just stared at the ceiling then decided to come on here. So the real question of this thread is: What do you do when your sick and bored? I need ideas for tomorrow because I am probably staying home tomorrow too.

I normally lie about, watch TV, do homework if It needs to be done. Doodling is fun, as is singing along to music.

You could always cook...cooking is fun. Maybe not so good when your ill though...

I wake up at around 1 or 2pm like normal, and then I play video games or watch tv. If I'm REALLY sick, then I sleep for another 12 hours.

I sit around doing what I do every day. Playing games and hangin' w/ my friends. Except I get to sleep in and don't have to go to work or any cheese like that.

I can't remember staying home because I was sick and needing something to do. The only times my mom would let me stay home from school is if I was really sick. So the few times I stayed home sick I was pretty much sleeping/in bed all day.

But if you want some ideas you can: read a book, watch TV/movies, play video games, chat online, write. Just do the things you usually do when you're home. Or you can get around to doing the things you never have time for.

I'm pretty sick right now. Sore throat, fever and I ache, but I don't have the luxury of being bored. I've worked on three courses today, cooked a pork roast dinner (not for me) and now there are dishes staring at me. More course work after that. Then I guess I'll take some NyQuil and try to sleep. *Dies* Oh geez...I just got back from the hospital and now I have to take 2 horse pills and 2 medium size pills twice daily. No...no...why...why...ok now I am definitely not going to school tomorrow...I will probably die tonight choking on my pills-_-

I once thought that I would pass the time being sick by making prank phone calls. Only problem is that when you're sick and on meds you can't think very good, so most of the calls were stupid and not funny. :(

You really need to watch anime. Animes are *typically* 26 episodes each which translates to an entire afternoon of non-boredom. Failing that (like if you don't like anime), watch movies. Lots of movies.

Read a book, play some videogames, or give someone a call and talk for a while? Whenever I'm sick and bored, I normally have a hot shower and go to sleep for a while.

I've been sick and bored out of my mind for the last three days or so. I can't sit up without feeling like crap so screw playing videogames right now. I wish I lived near a video rental place but thats like a half hour drive from here. Plus, my parents won't allow me to drive their cars or provide me with transportation, which is why I have not been to the doctor yet.

But being bored out of my mind is a 24/7 problem for me at the moment.

I've had a viral infection in my throat on two separate occassions over the past two weeks. Not a fun thing. Though staying home from school is. Except for the whole not-being-able-to-breath-or-swallow thing. That sucks. But oh well. I don't have to go to school.
