Banned?

Tonight I was just sitting back and watching this little 'shadow' fiasco with him ending up getting banned. And it got me wondering... if I ever got banned from somewhere before. I don't think that I have online or offline...I'm a good boy:)

So what aboot everyone else? Have you ever got banned from a forum, or even a place in real life? If so, why?

Yeha a long time ago I got banned form some pokemon forum but that was because the people there were evil and wanted nuthing but to rip me off when I tried to sell them pokemon cards.

Only places I've been banned were #eoff a few times. Sometimes just for fun, but I did have a real one that lasted an hour or two or something by Scottie like 2 years ago. :D

I got banned from chat once when I tried to type a message in binary. I got kicked, then when auto-connect kicked in, I got kicked by another bot, then when I got reconected I got kicked again. The third time I reconected, I said something like: "What just happened, I just said *binary*" which was stupid on my part, and the same thing happened, but this time I got auto-banned on the sixth reconnect. Luckily it was only temporary.

No. I'm a good boy. I probably should have been banned from SOME place at some point. Wait...I was banned from a Zelda chatroom a few years ago. www.z64central.com I think. Something like that. It was because I was trying to help the people with Zelda, and the Ops were cruel, heartless imps. But no, not from a forum. Though it probably shouldn't be too long before I'm banned from here for spamming or something. :)

I have technically been banned here twice. I don't know about other places although I am sure I rank up there amongst getting banned. You have no clue how awesome it is to go in there and completley make a mess of things even though it only takes like 2 minutes to clean up. The havok that is caused and the way people react is great.

If people didn't take things like it was the end of the world EVERY SINGLE TIME that kind of thing happened then people such as me would get no enjoyment out of it. Some one is messing with the place. Remain calm and cool. Know that a mod is coming there to eventually fix everything. If it gets too bad for you the leave for a while and go do something else.

I've never been banned from anywhere permanently, or even as a real punishment, if you disregard going into MSN chat when I was 11 and wreaking havoc. :p

I was banned from an Animorphs message board once. Wow, that was years ago. Back in the day, I ran a website, and a bit of a war started between me and another webmaster... which leaked into just about every other fansite forum... x_x And, yeah. He banned me from his message board. Which didn't really matter in the least because I never cared to post there. o.O Whatev.

Other than that, just the innocent !search in an IRC that brought all hell's fury upon me.

I, too, have been banned from RPGWars. Several times, in fact. I don't think they know about my new account yet. I've also been banned from FF:WA before, but I still have an account there and I don't really care. Beyond that, I think I got banned in that mass-banning associated with Linus' spam thread, and I've probably been "banned" in various FG-related jokes before.

Well i was a mod for a forum i started about an Everquest guild, we had a lot of people that wernt in the guild come and post there, cuz we spammed it and we told everyone we knew. It was not just about our guild it was about everything, and i was supposed to keep everything clean cuz my friend was too lazy to, then i was like this sucks maddness then we stop playing EQ or most of the guild so no signs of the webpage have been found:mad2:

Got banned from FFOnline back when it was a real forum, and banned from countles IRC channels. Not to mention that i once was banned from a STREET.... when i was 10. It didnt stop me though.


Oh and banned from countless C-S Servers, due to people getting ownt by me and calling me hacks to justify themselves sucking.

EQ blows anyways. Was cool back when Verant didnt go out of the way to ruin high end game(like Kunark times) but whatev.
