I would like say what a great game FF8 was.

This game is the one that got me into the FF series. I first got hooked by its great graphics, CG scenes and card game. Then I began to like the story, the characters, the battle system etc.

I never get sick of FF8. I have replayed it about 5 times now. Every playthrough is fun and also more rewarding than the last.

So let me say, Thanks Square, for making this brilliant game which got me hooked into the series! ;)

FFVIII got me "hooked" onto the series as well, though I did realize that there were better things out there, like VI. What FFVIII did well, it did REALLY well, but what it did bad, it did REALLY bad.

FFVIII is a pretty good game. People say it's "bad", especially at this forum, but they're comparing it to FFVI and VII, what many consider to be amongst the greatest games all time, and that is wrong. While VIII isn't as good as VI and VII, it is still a wonderful game. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

We already have a topic devoted to loving the game here (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42899), and so we don't need another one.

Maybe if it was VI or IX it would be different, but it is as it is. :)
