I used a gamepad, but it was just a Gravis. How is it "not working?" Is it not compatible, or are the buttons not working when you play the game?

ERR. anyone had this problem ? help =D

Dang. What are the stats of your PC? With my old one, the game ran sort of slow, and there were green lines in the pre-rendered backgrounds, but nothing beyond that.

i dont think my pc is too bad. it aint good though, but way beyong ff8 requirements. 64mb standard video, 768 ram, 50 gigs of free space, 1.8 ghz(eww). errrrr these squares and video flaws are making me crazy

What are the standard requirements for FF8? You never know, your video card may not be good enough. =P

That is good enough; my current pc is about the same, and it plays FF8 fine. Ask someone from Square.
