If you could have one "stereotypical" barnyard animal (cow, pig, goat, sheep, chicken, etc...) as a pet, what would it be and why?

A pig. I looove pigs. I have a few plush ones and my 2004 calendar has piglets on it. And I would wash it a lot so it wouldn't smell bad.

Definately a goat. They're cute, have wicked cool eyes and cloven hooves. I love em.

None. NONE. I HATE THEM.

Mainly cause I've lived on this farm for my whole life, so's I KNOWS what the bastards are like. Yeah, the piggie's cute - but wait till it grows into a motherlover whose bodyweight is counted in tons with tiny little bloodshot eyes and regular bowelmovement, then you'll know what they are.

And I have no idea which smells worse - the dull, nose-aching flavour left by the european rhinos or the rather sharper, almost grassy smell that's to do with the hornheads.

A cow! It's big, fat, dangerous and can make milk! :D

I would have a sheep. They're not too big and I'd have a constant supply of wool.

I would have a bunny. I like bunnies. they're cute.

They poop a whole lot, and pee on you if you hold them for too long. and they kinda smell. but the poop is good compost. and if you pet them while your sister holds them, they don't pee on you.

and I used to raise rabbits until we moved into a different house in the middle of a tight-ass'd yuppy community and we had to give them to a local Bible camp where a weasle promptly broke into their cages and ate them all. I was sad.

Anything but geese. Geese are evil creatures. They bite me :mad2:

No way.

Geese are the AWESOMEST barnyard animals EVER. They're all cute and goosey and go 'onk' and eat cookies but won't let me hug them but they will ONE DAY I SWEAR!

Um... I want a piggy that stays small forever, then I'll glue some horns on it and paint it blue and make it chase small children. ^_^

Is a bunny a farmyard animal Deblayde? xD

I say...goat!! I always wanted a goat. So cute. Except they eat everything. But then again so do I, so we'd get on great.

A chicken. Easy access I MEAN MAINTENANCE. Also, a wll-trained chicken would pluck mine enemies eyes out on command. It's small enough to travel round on my shoulder and offer me hints as I traverse the wasteland of Filgaia, too. It may peck my eyes out also, though. That could be a problem.

Chicken all the way.
