When browsing eoff, what do YOU look for in a thread?, what threads catches your eye and makes you actually want to read it?
Well for me, it usually has to do with freedoms being taken away, or some bizare current events, unfortunately I see this only very occasionally and have become somehwhat "inactive" here.

Bizarre topics always attract my attection, if they have weird titles and stuff.

I just click in anything that looks interesting. Although I tend to go into some with low posts, just cause I'm a lazy reader and don't want to read a 6 page thread to be caught up on what's going on. :D

I read and post in threads I feel I can contribute to.

I firmly believe that if you don't like someone you don't say anything to them at all, hence I rarely post in a thread if someone I dislike has posted in it already. If I do and it results in yet annother assanine retort I will defend my point once in a concise and somewhat respectful manner and then let the other person continue to make an ass of themselves as they waste their time throwing more crap at me.

I try to steer clear of threads containing arguments, or anything arbitrary discussed with any semblance of passion. I avoid topics discussing politics, world events, religion, morality (and anything tied to those things in some way) like the plague. I find it far to tempting to attack others in threads like those, the most arbitrary of all, and that would result in nothing but more useless trouble.

I almost never start threads. When I do I make sure that I have a clearly defined topic, as well as a goal in mind.

It's pretty much random for me. I just click on whatever.

I'll look for threads that have less than 30+ replies, because the others are too confusing for me.

Well, not really, I just don't like to get lost in the crowd.

I look for stuff that looks fun for the most part. Which is why I don't post here THAT much any more. I want to talk about Dinosaurs in Space and how ****ed that would be. But low and behold. That falls under spam just because it isn't serious. WELL ITS SERIOUS TO ME

Any threads but perhaps not the super serious ones they frighten me, unfortunately.

I check pretty much every thread. Sometimes you'll find a diamond in the rough.

I check everything because it's my job. I won't read everything, just see that you guys aren't flaming each other or posting porn, etc.

I sit there on the Main Index page, pressing "Refresh" until a new post comes up. Geez, is my life sad or what?
