April Fools was yesterday

Did anybody pull any good pranks?

I pulled a lousy one on my mom. made like she was going to be a grandmother again. it was poorly planned and not very funny.

but I had a great one a few years ago. see, my mom hated my first girlfriend. and I was going to say, "hey mom. T**** came into the restaraunt lastnight. She looked great, I haven't seen her for several years. She had a little boy with her, though, mom. He was about five years old and I'll be darned if he doesn't look just like I did when I was that age. We're going to get some paternity tests done, but I'm pretty sure he's mine. I had no idea he even existed. so I asked T**** to marry me lastnight so that he'll have a good home growing up."

I'm not much of an actor, but I practiced that one a couple of times in front of a mirror and made it really convincing. I didn't end up pulling it, though. It would have been endlessly funny, but it would have made my mom keel right over dead on the spot. and that wouldn't be funny. so all that planning, all the preparation, all the practice, and I didn't have the heart to go through with it. it would have been mean.

I told me ex that i was hit by a car and flew over the bonnet when i was on my way to college, i got her to believe me aswell :D

When i told her it was an April Fools though, i got a whopping slap in the face, was worth it though...:)

actually, I have a long history of April Fool's jokes. the first I played before I was even born. see, there was this windstorm on the first of April, nine days before I was born. my parents lived in a trailer at the time, and the one next door blew over and knocked into ours. My mom went into labor. then she quit. that was the joke. "I'm comin' out! I'm comin' out! here I come! get ready! wait. April Fool's!!!! AAAAH HAH HAH HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!"
