No odin?? spoilers warning

i was wondering if anyone ever finished disc 3 without odin? if not, is should try it i think. but i thought, since gilgamesh sucks, why not get odin on disc 4, so he wont be killed by seifer, or is that impossible?
i have never discovered it, but i read you are able to go back to your airship at disc 4.
well, mainly i just want to see what happens when you dont have odin and fight seifer at the end of disc 3

To get the Airship back on disk 4 you have to jump through the gates halfway down the chain that leads to Ultimecias Castle. One of which will allow you to access a Chocobo Forest. Once you have your Chocobo you need to goto the tip of the southern desert nearest Esthar. You'll find the Ragnorak just sat there waiting for you.

However you can't access any Towns orCitys once your on disc 4. You can enter the Chocobo Forests but I think thats all. Can't remember been a few months since I played FFVIII.

If you don't have Odin you just go straight into the fight with Seifer.

What era would the people in the Time Compressed world be from? Probably not allowed in towns to stop stuff like that happening.

O yeah i got that but what i was asking is why tears point? whats so special?

Probley so that you can still get the Soloman ring for Doomtrain.

Yeah, I reached the same conclusion as NM and assumed you can still go to Tear's Point because of Doomtrain. I believe you can go to the Deep Sea Research Centre for the same reason (Bahamut and Eden) though I'm not sure on that.

i finished disk three without getting odin...and then once i got the spaceship you can just fly to centra and get him then...

Bleh. The scene where Seifer splits Odin in two then gets whooped by Gilgamesh is worth getting Mr. Norsey before that point in Disc 3.

in my opinion, gilgamesh sucks a whole lot more than Odin. so it should be worth getting him at disc 4 then, innit?

i did it the first two times without odin ( didn't know he existed) but it's pretty cool to see him get killed, you don't really need all GF's anyway just junction.
