Quick reply needs a smilie option

I appreciate the quick reply being set up so quickly, but as one of the members who uses a trademark smilie for posts, could a dropdown menu of the available smilies be set up so that custom post smilies can be chosen? The default <img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/icons/icon1.gif"> isn't my cup of tea.
