Who was Squall's Mother and Father?

I had this question as a pop quiz and either at the time the names were mentioned during the game I was either very sleepy or I just didn't dot he right things to see their names.... Can anyone help me out please if you know?

The game kind og hints at whol is Squalls father,and im not sure if it actually says who the mother is but that is stressed to: Laguna and Raine Loire. Resons?Somone else will have to explain,because at this moment I am to tired to. :p sorry. But it is Raine and Laguna none the less.

Yup.Julia loved Laguna,thought he was dead,and the General comphorted her. In turn,she married him not knowing Laguna was alive in Whinnhil. Laguna fell in love with Raine then. General and Julia had Rinoa and Raine had squall before dying. The boy was taken to an orphanage.Rest is history.
