Ever notice how slow the internet becomes during the times that nobody is making a fuss about something that isn't really that important?

No, the internet seems just as fast to me :p Just there's less going on or less to read, I guess, but I tend to avoid drama things anyway since they're pointless :p

I rather like it this way. Unless of course everyone's in on the drama/joke. Then it can be fun.

Yeah, but I have a theory that there is less to read because there are less people actively posting etc. because they are drawn less to the internet because there isn't as much stuff going on that interests them because there is no internet drama and most people tend to be interested in that stuff, even if they hate it. Weird stuff, yup. But I'm sure it's true. Maybe it works the other way, maybe it's a cycle, I dunno. But they go hand in hand.

DRAMA = FUN

It's a basic rule of the internet. :/

I prefer it like this. People actually have thought-provoking, fun, or interesting conversations instead of mudslinging and whining.

You can have thought-provoking, fun and interesting mud-slinging, you know!

Well, maybe not exactly "thought-provoking". But definitely fun! :D

I guess it is fun when someone either 'leaves forever' or 'committs suicide'.

It doesn't happen enough, though. :(

I perfer light-hearted stupidity.

I'M LEAVING FOREVER! AND THEN COMMITTING SUICIDE!

But perhaps not in that order :D

LJ-drama (http://www.ljdrama.org/) is always out there to entertain us. :)

I like it better this way only because I can log on, make my rounds, and then go play Animal Crossing. xD

I'm on the 'net less, and I'm happier that way. Although the drama of people saying "EoFF sucks." in their LJs and whatnot is missed a bit, as it kept things interesting.

If you go to enough forums, you never get short of drama. ;)

You know what they say, Danny: Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it.

Anyway, havin' to see a bunch of people firin' potshots back and forth at each other gets old, in any case. I much prefer it this way.

There's drama in the chat room every night that the Padres and Giants play each other. Isn't that right, Matt? ;)

Strider

You need to hush about that already. There's always tonight to look forward to.

EDIT: Or right now, just kidding, where the Padres are winning 6-2 in the second. :eep: Sonova. . .

omg ppl are posting so fast that when I click a link, it's already inactive!

I don't follow the point of the thread...if people posted a lot, then people will post a lot. What are the chances the second you click will be the second three-four dozen people posted a reply? Pretty slim, imho.

Drama class apparently was fun in high school. There wasn't a final exam, for example :)

Yeh've got that frickin' right.

Un-interesting, unthought-provoking stuff is fine with me. And my Internet always moves slow, as I have a 56K modem. But I never notice any difference in anything...ever. It seems that I've lost that sense.

Actually, not having drama, and all of that "EoFF is so mean, I feel so bad..." and things like that is very good. Makes this place more relaxing and fun.

I really love some internet drama. This place would be boring as all hell without it. All sites would be boring without it. As long as all parties involved note that it's huge drama and take it lightly, I don't care nor mind.
