Ultima weapon soloed

Yup chopped him up in two mins with just squall here is how i did it..

Junction magic:
(in order of importance)
Evade (at least 25%)
vit
Speed
Strength
Health

Abilities:
Attack
Magic
Auto-potion
Auto-haste
Evade +30%
HP +80%

Magic:
Aura
Regen
Curaga

Then Squall is a killing MACHINE

side notes:
I always keep squal incredably strong and the rest, not so much, so they died on the way there.

Even at around 30 evade almost nothing can hurt you with physical attacks.
(my guy had 45)

Good vitality keeps his meteor from hurting you much but if you have regan and curaga he can barely touch you.

I have beaten him too with solo Squal. :) But i didn't use the same jucition hovever... I used GF's to block light pillar and i fought him at level 100 (if Squall's at level 100 ultima weapon will be as well) and whitout lionheart. What level was your Squall?

He has that first black sword thing with those 2 points

And actualy i didnt use that exact junction either but it would have been easier if i did :) thats why i posted it

If you have that junction and spells your better than any gf

Yes, but blocking with GF is the only way i know to avoid his light pillar as far as i know without using those cheating hero items. Hovever you may be able to kill him before he uses light pillar if you are fast enough... and "lucky" as Ulltimas atacks not are predicable like Omegas. :cool:

By the way... i think i should "try" to solo Omega. You think it's possible? It should be... but it sure is hard. Must try it out some time. :) hovever i may require lionheart for that.

You ever seen the greate bell in Ultimecias castle? When you go to the rope nerby and press X (psx verision) you hear monsters roaring and a countdown begins. At this time Omega appers in the room where you find the church organ and some strange black thing in the middle of the room. To get there before the time count reach zero, you must first take your "fight party" to the green cirkle (switch party cirkle) beside the fountain. Then you switch to your other party and go to the bell and start the countdown and then you change to your fight party again. Hurry to the room where i said omega appered and you will find him. If the countdown reach zero he will disappear. Omega has more than 1000000 hp.... :D

:confused: Hmmmmmmmmmm......... okay, i explain more detailed.(1) Enter ultimecias castle. (2) take your fight party to the switch cirkle near the fountain. (3) switch to the other party. (4) Take the other party up the stairs in the first room of the castle. (5) Go right. (6) just before the room with all the paintigs there is a church bell, go down the stairs and go DOWN (towards the screen) until you can't go any futher. (7) Search for a rope and press X (facing the rope). (8) Then the countdown should begin...

You may fight him with your whole party before you solo him. I haven't tried it out yet. I have been playing FFVII for a while and i just completed the game this way: singel character, no materia, first weapon and armor only. :D I like challanges. This way the final boss was the hardest fight i ever fought... yet. Solo Omega may be even harder. :rolleyes2

Well it doesnt matter if i keep them alive for the fight or not like i said they are pansies they will die prolly in the first round

OOOOH.......... well you need 300 death spells, 100 juncioned on stats def on each character and you will survive lvl 5 death. :)

omg squall dies all the time with death and i have 20% defense on him maybe 100 might be bettrer eh?

but my stats are all 50% 30% and 20% on everything if i make death 100% then everything else will be in 10s and ones and stuff

You only need to be immune to death when you fight Omega. He doesn't use any other bad status.

omega solo would be easy, as is anything with zell. u all know the punch rush, booya combo right with max luck and max strength right?

just ensure u meltdown him and as long as u get 8-12 hits per second everything will die in 1-2 rounds. just VERY long zell animation lol.

Well, i'm going to try solo omega with squall. Maybe also try defeat him without using limitbreaks. :) and all you RELLY need to do is "THE END" (most cheating attack in the game) :mad2:

Aeries we are talking about soloing him with SQUALL and without the lionheart so hush with this zell nonsense, besides there is a glitch in my game that made him level 2 permanently

lol squall solo wouldnt be too hard with brothers and heros or gf instead of heros if u can time it against light pillar. seriously, omega is a bite bug. just zell makes lion heart look so weak.

they r in the temple near the galbadia capital and r quite crap EXCEPT 4 the move i mentioned.

and yes hero is cheat and i have never used it on omega though i think using it 2 beat omega solo squall is justified cause a missed timed gf to stop light pillar (e.g its to fast or to slow) and your a gonna.

Why is hero a cheat item? For me a cheat it's something outside the game you use to modify the game in your favor, like a game shark, a key combination to give you certain things. as long as the hero item is aviable in the game it is right to use it whenever you want. If your definition of cheat is something that can make the game way easier why don't you consider the lionheart as a cheat as wel?

It's no REAL cheat... but still i never use them just because they make you invinsible. And i don't like that Heros (and holy wars and whatever) was made into the game. Just like i hate that The end and Zell's overpowered limit was made to the game. But, yes they are no REAL cheats. And lion heart IS also overpowered, but it's still far less powerfull than The end and Zells. But you'r right they are still no real cheats.

I have finally done it. :D I solo defeated Omega with Squall :D .(Without hero and lionheart.) However i found out that you can't survive Terra break with only one character even if you have 255 vit, protect and 9999hp GF being summoned. Soo i used that Defend ability to survive it. I found Brothers, thanks for info, aeris2001x2. :D

congratulations ultima shadow. i am glad i could be of assistence.

in my opinion i,d say a cheating item is something that gives u an unfair advantage. i dont mind lion heart, zell limit etc cause there damage based and limit breaks. they are natural abilities that do number damage.

but invincibility, instant death moves that kill everything (the end, zanmoto) and any form of lucky 7 i see as cheap...not cheating per sa, but cheap.

i wouldnt count ff6 vanish doom combo as cheating though. i,m not sure why but thats ok.

another creatures power.

Omega solo without lionheart and hero was much easier than had tougth it to be. It took me two tries to defeat him that way. By the way i have bougth ffx. and i'm looking forward to face that Penance. :) (what do Penance look like?)

i wont spoil it but he looks like a very twisted alexander.

but believe me, your about 200 hours away from facing him. i done a count and there r 45 super bosses to beat before him lol. but good luck. the super boss quest is definitly my fav part of this game and u will love the challenge.

You can beat both omega and ultima using this (somewhat cheesy) strategy:

255 mag
auto haste/high speed stats
meltdown
triple
meteor

I think you can beat ultima with one meteor if enough stones hits it. Triple meteor is a sure thing. With Omega you might need a second casting, which is what auto haste/high speed stats is for.

FF8 is too easy.
