Okay, it's already started, but this might as well be a thread to discuss it. Predictions welcome.

Edit: Damn. The Giants traded Philip Rivers at the 4th pick, a 3rd-rounded this year, and a 1st and 5th round pick next year, to San Diego for Eli Manning. The Chargers did it. They got the better deal. Philip Rivers is pretty dang good, and the Giants will still be bad, so they could have 2 top-ten picks next year. And the Lions traded their pick to drop down a spot, and they get Cleveland's 2nd-round pick. Go Detroit.

Oh man, the Lions got a heck of a deal there. They traded down only one spot and still got a player they highly coveted. But man, that 2nd round pick, wow. They have so many needs, and this is only going to help.

I'm starting to get that pre-NFL season hope the Lions are going to kick ass thing going again. We might win 6 games this year!

EDIT: Oh, and congrats to Robert Gallery being the 2nd overall pick. It's great to see a hawkeye up there. He will be missed here in Iowa, that's for sure.

Yeah, but Gallery will be fantastic. Having seen 5 or 6 Iowa games this year, he will one day be the best Offensive Tackle in the NFL.

I can't believe Jacksonville took Reggie Williams. That was a grab. He's a 15th pick, at best.

Not saying Eli won't be good...but San Diego got a much better deal by getting PHillip Rivers and all those draft picks.

You know who also rocks? Sean Taylor...I was so glad they didn't get Kellen Winslow and he's going to Cleveland. Yay for Ray Lewis decapitating him.

Hmm... tough call on the Manning trade. He didn't exactly make things easy in San Diego, so I'd say they made a great move. However, if Eli plays anything like his brother, in a few years, this might be a great trade for the Giants too.

Take care all.

The Cowboys traded their 1st round pick this year for the 2nd and 5th round picks this year, and the 1st rounder next year of Buffalo. Looks like no Steven Jackson or Kevin Jones for us. Now we're lookin' at Julius Jones, Tatum Bell, Michael Turner, or Chris Perry.

I am pleased with Oakland's pick. The buzz on Gallery is good, and the Raiders tend to like high profile players. Plus it's my opinion that offensive line is the most important unit in football. So good job there.

And he just looks like a Raider. I think.

Best draft so far has been to Detroit. They could pull off a whopping 5 wins this year. :p

They won 5 games last year. They'll win 7 this year, mark my words!

I've officially stopped updating the top with trades. It got too annoying. I'm just listing what team got what player. So Julius Jones and Jacob Rogers for the 'Boys. I guess it's something, though I would have preferred Steven Jackson or Kevin Jones.

How about the Pats? They get Dillon and sure up their D even further. Scary how solid they are.

Take care all.

the pats are going back to the super bowl, and will become the next dynasty

The Pats need to be careful, 'too many cooks...'. They were great because of excellent coaching and teamwork. The more superstars you have the less of a team you will be.
