Best Square game in 5 years?

I'm on my second playthrough of this game and I must say it is superb. You can tell Square/Disney really took their time on this, and I think this is their best effort since FFVII. The later FFs besides IX have been disappointing, and I'm not really hyped up for part XII so it will be refreshing to see KH get a sequel. Is it the Dinsey magic? Or has the culture changed so much that I feel out of place in the recent wave of games? Perhaps the oldschool feel of KH (with all the old Disney references) and FFIX (with all the old FF references) it what attracts me to them. Or maybe it's just the inovative Zelda-style gameplay. Either way I hope Square continues this momentum in part 2.

Let's see, 5 years? That would take us back to 1999, which is right before IX came out. I would probably sat that it's the best game in 5 years. I'm not sure what it is, but you feel so loved when you play the game. I guess your description is best, but it's just impossible to not love this game.

Yup,best in 5 years. When you have given yourself up to many many(over 120) hours of this game,while the others you wish merely to chuck, it must be good,yes?And it was.I cannot wait of the next to come out(well,i can and will...but its hard)

lol, well there is a very simple explanation for all this. Kingdom Hearts takes you back to the days when you were a little kid and you were a big fan of Donald, Goofy, Aladin, the Little Mermaid, etc.etc.etc.

It is a game that lets us reminis (sp) back to our younger childhood days.


Oh and I forgot Peter Pan.

It is a very good game, yes. I dunno about the best in 5 years, but it is very good. I like FFIX a bit more.

Best since VIII. IX was terrible IMHO. I adore Kingdom Hearts and I will own CoM and KH2. I will master them just like KH. *fanboy*

Definitely the best in teh past five years. I cried the entire time I had it lent out, then when I got it back I sat down and played for 9 hours strait.

This was probably the best Square since FF7 or FF9. Not FF8 Though.

KH was much better than FF8. I couldn't stand the junctioning system on that game.
