Your sig should be all alligned the same way (typically) so therefore, looking at the text alligned to the left, your image should be as well.

Mine is to the left because, on my screen, that's relatively centered (once you consider the table cell including username/title/avatar/location etc). If I was using my sig on a vB3 that has postbits above the post by default, I would center my sig.

Actually lots of people don't have signatures, so you're just another tool.

I like text-only signatures myself, but I don't mind animated gifs and weird pictures and quasi-porn. What I really don't like is avatars though :)
