View Full Version : Knights Suggestion

Just a suggestion, could the knights be forced to PM people before they make changes to someones sig or avatar. Even if they still remove it this would allow the user to know what they did wrong and who did it so they can ask them ways to fix it, etc.

Just an idea, why? I have the above problem, I thought my sig was acceptible (It has been left for the last 3 weeks) and then out of the blue without warning it disappears. Anyway, I've already put out an appeal for someone to tell me whats wrong with it, so don't worry bout' that.

hm, yeah. when I was a mod, I'd give a reminder PM to sig-offenders to change their sigs to fit the limit. Seems like most mods/admins just change and don't PM before they change nowadays.

Not that I would know for sure.

Um, the guidlines are pretty cut and dry. You should make sure that it fits those guidlines before using it.

I did, it fitted, no quotes or comments to avoid the bad language clause *hehe, irony eh* and the file size was kept below 40kb's.

Edit: And the reason I want to be PM'd what was wrong with it is so I can fix it because I don't want to be banned for putting it back....

Yours had questionable content in it that was very small and it took that long for someone to notice it. I don't normally PM anyone as to why I removed a sig because the limits are clearly stated above the sig field and members should be reading this before they add sigs. I do state my reasons for removal in the sig though, just as the person who removed yours did.

I didn't remove your first sig, but I removed your second because I didn't think that it was very nice.

lol, fair enough and the person who removed it came forward and told me what was wrong so I can fix it now.

Can you attach your old signature? I wanna see what was wrong with it.

It had the words Holy S**t scribbled in tiny writing where the white bit was, I tottaly missed it. I know to look more carefully at the pictures I use next time and make sure their completely clean next time. And the address for where I got the orginal picture is on the sig image anyway :D

I usually change the sig to the reason it was changed. Like 'Sig removed for being over size limits' or something like that.

I do the same.

The problem could easily be solved on both sides by disabling signatures.

Do it!

Everyone should edit the sig to say "Check the size requirements" or "Inappropriate material" or whatever, like some other people said they do. I don't bother with sigs or anything, but if I did, I'd do that. I don't know if I've ever had to edit an avatar, but a PM is a good idea in that case.

Any mod or admin who edits a signature should put why it was removed in the signature. We'll actually take the time to send each person a PM explaining the rules that are already stated elsewhere when you give me a raise. Humph! xP

That would be cool if we got paid.

The team got together and we decided to triple your salary, Shlupellino.

Several times in quick succession. Along with a custom rank and signature.

If you were paid I think you would have been assisanted and taken over by an impersonator by now...
