Be honest now.

I suck at Yoshi's Island, hehe, I had enough trouble getting through the levels up to the very first boss, and when it came to the next area I gave up after a few tries. I think my problem is I tend to run around too much and not be careful so I ended up dropping Mario all the time xD

I also suck at all those first person shooter games, Quake and Half-life and stuff, I can never work out the angles and controls at the same time, and end up losing myself/other people. I suck at a lot of games actually, but that will do for now. :)

I suck at first person shooters aswell, and Tomb Raider, I really suck at that. Maybe it is because I am distracted....hmmm....who knows!

I suck hardcore at RTS... StarCraft, WarCraft, C&C... man, I totally blow at all of them.

I'm also pretty bad at FPS games in multiplayer (though I do alright in single player)

Fighting games. I just don't have the ability to memorize all the moves to be an effective player.

I dislike fighting games and racing games, although I'm not particularly bad at them by any means.

I prefer 2D platformers, RPGs and first person shooters.

Online gaming, I can't get the hang of it, nor do I really find the time to actually pay attention to real time activity.

Take care all.

I don't actually suck at any game. I am good at them all...the only ones that give me a bit of a problem are new age shooters. I prefered it when it was slower paced like 1942

I'm pretty bad at FPS, although I get better as the night goes on in LAN parties. I also suck at sport games except for 2 soccer games for NES, all the rest I just have no patience for. The only fighting game I'm okay at is Soul Caliber II (timing is the key with Sophitia and Cassandra to kick some butt XD). The rest I'm either okay in or pretty good at. RTS take me awhile, but I love playing them...just haven't really tried DDR to give a good opinion of it.

Ouch!

Three letters. DDR.

If I take the time, I can be good at any game.

Except for games I don't like, because I'll never play them, namely football or sports games, they're just boring.

A good example is DoDonpachi, the insane arcade shooter from Cave, I used to never even be able to get past the first few enemies because it all felt too fast, now I can get to level 3 or 4 on a single life, with a very respectable score.

Just takes time I suppose.

Para Para Paradise. Stupid game. *goes to play DDR*

Counter Strike, Warcraft. And all other FPS and RTS.

They don't have logic and solution!!!!!

I never found a guy that soved a logic game.

I was expecting that I would end up a logic game and say "That's logic!!!!", but I never did it. Thanks God!

Quake III.

Strangely though, I always go to LAN parties, and after sucking it up at Quake, I rarely ever lose at UT,UT2003,or UT2004. I am so freakin awesome at UT, it's crazy.

It's quite strange.

That's because Quake 3 sucks, and UT is awesome, simple as that, it's a better game. Quake 3 is a large blunt instrument that thwacks you over the head, UT is...subtle mass carnage.

I suck at Splinter Cell. Guess it's easier being a Thief in the medieval times then a Spy nowadays. Also, I'm not the best at sports games.
I do love a good FPS or Fighting game though, so I'll usually play those after getting mad at Sam Fisher one too many times (goes off to play Call of Duty).

Wow, so many people claim to suck at DDR. Though I don't suck at DDR, I do suck at the Beatmania series. I am working on correcting that though.

I tried to think just one game I suck at, and came to a conclusion that I honestly have always been pretty good at any given game. :/ If I had to say something, I hate games/levels in games that has strict time-limit, which tends to frustrate me.

Jack
05-11-2004, 01:45 PM
Survival Horror games. Because they're just too slow for me to be good. Plus, I can't get my head round some of the cryptics in SH2.
Resident Evil, I hatw ith all my heart.
I suck at Quake on the web cause the people who play that arn't casual and sepnd WAY too much time learning inside out.

I know DDR isn't real dancing, but it scares me that you can't at least do 4 star songs in DDR (please say you can).

I can't beat tactics simply because I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I suck hardcore in anything else though.

All kindsa first person shooters. I guess I just can't controll all the little buttons and directions of things to be quick and accurate. gimme a light gun and a lasertag arena, though, I rule all. revenge on people who work me on videogames.

I also rule at strategy games. not too quick, but always effective.

I suck at mostly any game first time through, but as I play it I get better...I sucked so much at Dynasty Warriors at first, but then I got really good after a few weeks or so. For FPS's, I usually use codes first time through to get used to the controls and whatnot...

Dj Flow

Ill tell you a good tip on how to get good at fps on the pc.........If you play a lot of them on your pc.Well the first fps game you played on your pc what you do is hat ever controls you have on your first fps game use the same controls for all your fps games thats what i do

I am absolutely useless at beat-em-ups. I can't achieve anything without button-bashing. It's shameful.

Other than that, I'm OK at pretty much everything.

I suck at fighting games (SSBM doesn't count, GO YOUNG LINK) I'm only good when I button mash and that doesn't get you too far on most fighting games. I'm also sort of bad at reflex games but I get better with practice. I'm pretty much good at the rest of it. Can't say much of sports games. Never played much, never liked much.

Yoshi's Island!!!! I LOVE THAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! you still have it?!?!?! darn you........*wants snes back*

Games I suck at:

Xenosaga

Final Fantasy 10
Mega Man X4-X6
.hack series

Behold the Void

06-05-2004, 05:42 AM
No matter how good I am in Armored Core I can't help but hating missions... I've played since the first Armored Core and even now on Armored Core: Silent Line I can't stand certain missions. It's like you get insanely good in some thing and the you get a stub, like a long mission that wastes all your ammo, then you have to redesign your mech and try it again and if that works you'll probably have to go back to the original because you have to do a fast pace mission again. It's like you always have to be good in every thing. Then there is the thought that no matter how good I get in it I still haven't gotten all the parts and getting them all requires doing the missions.

DrkNight_Cedric

I suck at Halo(XBOX) and CS(compared to like SK) and WC3
btw nobody sucks at tomb raider:AOD the controls are just bad like the rest of the TR games ;)

The controls for Golden Eye and Dark Rain are perfect, and Metroid Prime comes in a close second. Other than those, I suck at FPS games because the controls are just too crazy, it's like learning to drive all over again.

I'm not horrible at non skateboarding/snow boarding/jet skiing sports games, I just don't really like them so I never take the time to be any good at them.

For the longest time, I honestly couldn't figure out Banjo-Tooie. I thought it would be similar to Banjo-Kazooie, but it was WAY more complexly interwoven. Once I figured it out though, it was cool and fun.

And small amounts of pity go out to me for this embarrassing moment. When I first played the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I got stuck at a rather simple moment. It was in the Deku Tree, the room with the (I think) compass, the one golden skulltulla and the switch that raised the columns. It took me about thirty minutes to figure out to light the deku stick on fire. Luckily the rest of the game wasn't that difficult for me.
