It's not a trout, but it was a sawfish; close enough. So, to give this a topic, what is your favorite fish?

Hah. Thats funny, when there is no shoes around and there is fish. Throw a fish. Anyways, being from Washington I like Salmon. Especially when it smoked Salmon it tastes good.

This just made me think of chat:

Rye slaps Rye around a bit with a large trout

But to be serious, I don't like fish. They're yucky to me.

I hate fish. Yuck-yuck. Especially fish sticks. The only kind of fish I'll eat is shrimp, and that's only if it's grilled to the maximum pr00tage to get rid of the sea smell.

I like ahi. But not as a weapon.

I like smoked salmon. Battered cod and chips is good too.

Prawns and small seafood things are always nice as well. I could sure go for a prawn cocktail now.

I like every kind of fish I've ever tried. However, I haven't tried a lot of fish, and I don't eat it often enough to have a favorite. I've never thought of using it as a weapon before, but it could be fun.

I have to say that I prefer Lionfish for looking at, and Salmon for eating.

Some people always wanted to swim with dolphins. I want to eat them.
And cod. Haha, cod.

Fish is cat food. I seriously can't tell the difference between Tuna and Meow-mix. 'Cept for one has a kitty on it and one has a fish cartoon.

A shark makes a good weapon, too.

*retaliates bu slapping bennator with a milkfish*

Okay, here are my favorites:

1. lapu-lapu (grouper)
2. tuna - in Philippines, there are lots of kinds (want a tuna fron Generals Santos City?)
3. tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) <-- thank God, I have a friend who is a fisheries graduate hehehehehehe!
4. bangus (a milkfish, national fish)
5. If I don't have enough money, galunggong (round scad)

Shark, Snapper and that other fish that's in all the Auckland fish'n'chips shops. NZ fish is good fish. NZ fish'n'chips shops are alsofar superior to their UK counterparts. :( In general, anyway. There's the odd good one.

EDIT: I'm a fan of salmon, too.

Oh man, I've heard all about those. Apparently they're really big up here in Scotland, although I've personally never seen one... doesn't exactly sound appetising, huh? >_<;; Blech.

Oh! I remembered that other fish in NZ's shops. Hoki. Good, basic, nice-tasting and most importantly decent sized fish.

they sell Hoki in my local shop but I've never tried it. As for deep fried mars bars yeah they're popular in the north, but not in the south you'd get a wierd look in london asking them to deep fry one. Everyone is so health orientated here it's quite surprising considering the amount of obese people in london. Still they aren't nice (I managed a single mouthful before puking up violently) but some people are addicted to them. then like my cousin wonder why they're 16 five foot tall and a size 18 to a 20 clothes (roughly a 40inch waistline)

This sort of behaviour should be encouraged for our personal amusement.

I don't particularly like fish. Scampi is okay though, I suppose.
