Favorite Playable Cid?

At first glance, I'd say Orlandu because he saved my party countless times towards the end of the game, but at the same time, he made the game less fun = too easy.

Thus, my vote must be for the greatest pilot of all time: Cid Highwind.

Oh Highwind without a doubt. Arguably, he's got the best quote in any game ever. (Sorry if I got a bit of it wrong, it's been ages since I last played VII.)

It's a tough call. I like Cid Highwind's abilities and personality, but Thunder God is so overwhelmingly useful and powerful that I voted for him. He's indespensible to your party once you get him.

um, LOL Crono didn't have any weapons called that. It was the Rainbow.Chrono does indeed have a weapon called the Mop. It can be stolen from the Nu at the Hunting Range and is weaker than even the Wooden Sword. Probably the most infamous challenge among CT players is beating Lavos with Chrono alone, equipped only with the Mop.

I mean, he can wipe out someone's MP and restore his own, wipe out someone's HP and restore his own, break their weapon and blast the crap out of them, the list goes on.

Well, TG is just his nickname, he's actually a human being. :) This thread is about favorite Cid anyway, not the strongest Cid. However, Dragon Dive, Big Brawl and Highwind are really cool limit breaks, so Cid also has skills as powerful as Night Sword, Lightning Stab and Holy Explosion.

ForeverZeroUltima: Go to the hunting range in 65 million BC, and wait until it starts raining. A Nu will appear somewhere in the forest (I think there are 3-4 possible places where he can appear). Find him, and touch him to engage the battle. Have Ayla use Charm on him. If you succeed, you'll get a mop. These Nu creatures are great for leveling up and learning techs. They can never kill you, and you can fight them whenever it's raining.
