View Full Version : If history was an RPG who would be the final boss?

Lord Chainsaw
05-14-2004, 02:38 AM
And what would his stats be? How would you beat him?

For me the answer is easy.

The final boss would be:

Stalin
HP: 32,000
ATP: 122
VIT: 145
INT: 50
EXP: 20,000
GP: 5,000

The battle with Stalin is the final battle of the game, in which you must fight atop the floating city of Stalingrad. First of all, do NOT go into this fight with any characters below level 60. You will be CRUSHED if your characters are not at least 60 for this fight. 70 is recommended. Know that Stalin's Iron Fist of Communism can and will deal 4,000 points of damage to all party members. Not only that, when he uses it he also drains away a small fraction of that HP and gives it to himself. Not good!

He will also occasionaly cast stone skin and become invulnerable for a few rounds. During this time, the cold weather of Stalingrad will more than likely wear down your characters for 2,000 points of damage a round. Use this time to heal up and cast attack enhancing magic. When stone skin wears off go back to pounding away at him. He has A LOT of HP, so the fight might take a while.

And the optional bosses:

Galileo
HP: 65,535
ATP: 255
VIT: 200
INT: 255
EXP: 40,000
GP: 0

Galileo is probably the hardest boss in the game. He has a boatload of HP, and no real weaknesses. He will use the gravity based helio-centric theory every now and then to take away 75% of your characters' max hp. He can also summon Aristarchus to deal 5000-6000 points of type-less damage to one character. The only real hope you have in this battle is to silence him. It will stop him from using the dreaded helio-centric theory spell, but it won't stop his powerful physical attacks or his Aristarchus summon. Be careful, Silence does not always work!

And of course...

Rasputin
HP: 1,000,000
ATP: 1
VIT: 255
INT: 130
EXP: 500,000
GP: 3,000

Rasputin is sort of an oddity among optional bosses. He can't really kill you, but you can't really kill him either. After dealing about 50,000 points of damage to him, he'll cast Cure 3 and recover most of it. You're faced with a decision at this point. You can either keep pounding away at him and hope he runs out of MP, or you can run away. Poison also has no effect in this fight, so don't try to poison him and leave the game running for 3 hours.

immune to all status attacks

and etc. Basically indestructable.

God, of course. He would somehow incorporate images of the dieties of all the major religions, and thus continue the RPG standard that the religious factions are evil.

My final party:

Arthur
George Washigton
Jesus (Father! Noooooo!!)
Ghandi

HP: 150,000
MP: 666
Skills:
Massive swearing attack
Double Palm heel strike
Club crusher
The "I sit on you" attack
High pitched singing voice of doom

Hase very little weaknesses, but throwing can's of Diet Coke and Root beer causes severe weakness.

It's so true it's not even funny.

I think a good final boss would be the embodiment of the plague of mankind - AIDS. Maybe one of those deep, philosophical fights where we learn that AIDS has been in our genetic code for millennia, controlling our every action. And it came to Earth on a meteor or something. Yeah.

I won't go into the stats, but my final party would be
-General George S. Patton
-Joanne d'Arc
-El Cid (there has to be a Cid)
-Jonas Salk

Del Murder

I almost went with Alexander but I like Arthur better, even though he is mostly legend.

Hitler is the 'boss you chase the whole game only to find out there is something even bigger'. That bigger thing being, of course, God.

During the Hitler fight your party has to split in to two groups because Stalin is revived by the mystic Rasputin and they attack from the east. My secondary group:

Joanne d'Arc
Mohammad Ali
Plato
Confucius (his philosophy combo attack with Plato is devastating)

Leonardo DaVinci
Bill Gates (think Kain from FFIV)

Hahah, what a GREAT topic.

Final Boss:

All The Evil in the world Manifested into: Bizarro UN (Not the UN we know and love, but the evil parallel Universe UN).

HP: 1,000,004
Strength: 200+ and growing, due to new nations always entering

Attacks:
- "Ultimate Debate" - an attack that not only knocks a lot of HP off, but also puts team to sleep and often causes confusion when woken up.
- "Super Compromise" - Casts both Regen and Poison on the team. Depending on how many battles you've run away from, poision will either be stronger (More escapes) or weaker (Less).
- "GP Aid" - Money is dropped on the party.
- "Lunch Break" - Attack upon boss's death, where all characters are instantly disinterested. Cured with Reality Check2, but must be cast before end of battle.

Final Party:

Achilles, though he cannot survive this battle.
Napoleon
Mother Teresa
Dr. Strangelove

Take care all.

Final Boss: Hitler (3 Forms)

Turns out Hitler didn't die, he went into hiding... in the center of the Earth! There he gained power and is now trying to create the Fourth Riech. Guess who's gotta stop him?

Adolf Hitler
HP: 50,000
MP: 5,000
EXP: 0
GP: 0
Special Attacks:
Blitzkrieg (Casts Haste on self),
Vengence Rocket (Large Non-elemental damage to all party members),
Genocide (Instantly kills one party member)

This is the Hitler from history, only much stronger. His Vengence Rocket and Genocide can cause real problems, so keep your HP up.

Dämon Hitler (Demon Hitler)
HP: 75,000
MP: 7500
EXP: 0
GP: 0
Special Attacks:
Facist Flame (Massive Fire damage to one party member)
Gas Chambers (Deals Poison, Confusion, and Silence to all party members)
Soldiers Souls (Summons 4 Nazi General Demons)

Going through the changes casued by hiding in the center of the Earth, along with all the hate built up over years, made the great evil in Hitler create it's own embodiment, stronger than the original.

*Nazi General Demon*
HP: 25,000
MP: 3000
EXP: 0
GP: 0
Special Attacks:
Heil Hitler (Recovers 5000 of Dämon Hitler's HP)
Underworld Artillery (medium non-elemental damage to all party members)

These souls of top Nazi official killed many Jews. They're hatred and fiece loyalty to Hitler have given them new powers.

Endloses Hitler (Infinite Hitler)
HP: 150,000
MP: 50,000
GP: 0
MP: 0
Special Attacks:
Soul Feed (Recovers 10,000 HP)
Betrayal (Casts Confusion on 2 party members and deal 2500 damage to others)
Torment Within (Deal Death to 2 party members)

The final form of Hitler, this form has all the evil, malice and hatred of the entire Nazi party! It's seemingly infinite powers can make it seem like there is little hope.

NOTE: In addition to these, all three forms of Hitler have access to all Black Magic in the game.

Final Party:
General George S. Patton
William The Conqueror
George Washington
Joanne d'Arc

Honorable Mentions:

Attila The Hun
HP: 32,000
MP: 1000
EXP: 80,000

Whew, well, I'm done. Okay, so I stretched it a little. If you want to be hsitorically correct, just ignore the last two. I just added those because I thought it'd make a better final battle.

I had a tough time deciding between Bill Gates and Satan, but I decided that Bill Gates would be more fun as one of those guys you kep running into throughout the game and always messed things up for himself. Haha Microsoft yeah I know.

Anyway.
Satan.
HP: Lots.
MP: Lots.
Magic: Lots.
Guys you have to defeat in the final stage before you get to him: The Four Horsemen.

My party (selectable from):
Main Fighter: The Unknown Student Who Stood Infront Of The Tank In China
Token Chick: Uh... geez. Princess Diana? I guess.
White Mage: Jesus or Gandhi
Black Mage: Moses
Smart Guy: Dr Unne (Shoeshine Boy)
Comedic Value: Citizen Bleys (Drunk Buddhist)
Random Creature: A Dinosaur (also gives token brute force guy)
Robot: Deep Blue (or whatever it is, that chess machine)
Bubbly Female Thief Type: Jenna Jamieson or whatever she's called.
Girl With Actual Brains: Margaret Thatcher
Bard / Ladies Man: Enrique Iglesias

...that would be a pretty cool game, actually. My final party would probably be Moses, Jesus, The Unknown Student and maybe Princess Diana or the Dinosaur. Probably a big dino, yeah, because you need your brute force guy.

Actually, none of us can know who the final boss is, because we're actually all characters in the game, and whoever's playing it hasn't beaten the game yet...
I've beaten it. You're the final boss.

Actually it's this guy called Ronald Richardson. I have no idea who he is, but in about 1,200 years or so, he's gonna do something and it's gonna be pretty damn badass.

I don't recall ever being mean here. I treat everyone with respect whether they deserve it or not. Why I am locked out boggles my mind. But anyway...

ACHILLES

Supposedly the greatest warrior of all time.

Only one way to kill him: Shoot him in the achilles tendon. Sadly, this time around he wears heavy armor around his heels. Were all gonna die.

Bill Gates

Pfft I still say Bill Gates.

HP: 100
ATT: 2
VIT: 3
INT: 500
EXP: 10
GP: 255 in hex, whatever that equates to in base 10. :o

His attacks include GP Rain and Coin Toss. And he kicks everyone's butt in one turn with fifty million bucks.

Since when did 'real life battles' become turn-based anyway?

I am? Awesome! I knew I'd end up working for evil eventually.

I seem to have forgot to list my final party.

My final party:

Caligula
Nero
Machiavelli
Hannibal

The way I got everyone to level 70 was flying Count Zeppellin's airship to Athens and fighting Plato over and over. Plato is pretty tough, but each time you beat him you gain 20,000 exp. You really got to watch out for "The Republic" because every time he uses it all your characters take 3000 points of damage and get confused. That's the reason I have Machiavelli. He's immune to confusion naturally, so I just have him cure the others before Plato gets in any more damage.

Caligula's berserker attack can really dish the damage although it lowers his defense to 0. Nero's persecution attack is also pretty powerful, and it even casts mini on regular enemies. Nero's also got the best fire magic in the game. Together Caligula and Nero make the best party in the game for their "Bad Emperor Attack" which is a combined attack that does almost 6000 points of damage to a single target.

Maybe you weren't mean, but spamming in EoEO is just as bad.

Saddam or Bin Laden!

With Bin Laden it would be "The more bombs you'll get, the more HP, he'll have" :D

How about Karl Marx, whose ideas were the groundwork for Lenin?

Take care all.
