Best Bonus Stages in games

What are your favourite bonus stages from games?

My absolute favourite is in Sonic 3, with the red and blue spheres and you have to only collect all the blue ones. I did soooo well at that today too. I much preferred it over the Chaos Emerald stages in Sonic 1 or 2, just the speed and the concentration in this one, much more fun. Yay.

The Sonic 1 stages were fun but they made me wanna puke because they made me dizzy. The Sonic 2 ones were so freaking fun also.

Donkey Kong Country 2, with all the myriad of challenge to get the bonus coins, more varied than any other game I'd say, and much better than those in DKC1 or DKC3.

Harder too.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It had the "Collect the Spheres" game, it had that game where you had to bounce up and collect prizes from a machine, it had a slots game, and that game where you had to progress by jumping off of spheres and the goal was to get out of the stage without being touched by a string of electricity. Those made each checkpoint in a level that much better.

Well, you don't need to complete them to win, it's (kinda) a challenge to get them, and the reward you if you beat them all.

The bonus stage in World Heroes is so stupid. It's just a Street fighter bonus stage ripoff where you destroy a statue.

The stupid thing is you can just crouch and press kick a bunch of times until it breaks. Then again, that whole game is stupid.

Yup yup. I like smashing the car with my bare hands and legs. Sometimes I will pretend Blanka is actually Hulk and cries: "Hulk SMASH!!!" :bigsmile:
