I dunno what GE is, but here are a few general rules that the public has agreed upon:

1. Please use correct spelling.*
Please don't use short-hand speak when you post. Not only is it annoying for some, but it also gives the impression that you can't type properly.
2. Please don't get upset at anyone if they "offended" you.
Even if they meant to offend you, it's better for you to ignore and/or warn them. Mods usually know what to do and in almost all cases, do take care of these disputes quickly as possible.
3. If you're upset at a staff member's decision in whatever case (such as warning you in a thread for whatever you may have done wrong), please don't post a thread about it.
Most likely, the thread will get closed immediately, and if you continue making threads like so, you may get banned. It's better for you to PM the staff member in question with any complaints you may have. If you flame the staff member, you will most likely get banned.
4. Limit the number of smilies in your post.
If you have too many smilies in your post, that gives the impression that you're not serious in your post. A simple or or or or or whatever smiley you decide to use will be sufficient.
5. In a debate thread, don't take things the other poster says in dispute of your post.
Doing so may take things personal, and you may flame the person for not agreeing with you, and you could get banned. It's ok for people to disagree on topics. If everyone agreed, life would be boring!
6. If you're unsure that the topic of a thread you may make in the future has been done or not, please use the Search feature!
Trust me on this. Mods will likely close your thread on first sight with a link to the other thread, thus making you feel stupid for not looking hard.
7. Please check out the chatroom at least once a month.*

They won't let us in because they believe that sunlight is a priviledge that we mere mortals and cool people don't deserve....

That really tall building there on the north side of the Boards is BAoTW HQ (http://mysite.freeserve.com/baotw/home.html), its usually inhabited by Misfit (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=7643), Denmark (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=631), and Psychotic (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=5602). Their a friendly and welcoming bunch, if you go over they'll give you nachos (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Nachos) and let you stroke their Walrus (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Walrus). Along with this the other members of BAoTW have been known to hang out there as well.

The West side of town is quite a busy area incompassing the whole of the Square-Enix Boards (http://forums.eyesonff.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3), from FF 1 to Chrono Cross its all there. Along with help, tips, spoilers and a little bit of madcapness. Always worth a peak just to see whats going on. Oh just while I remember you'll need to show your member pass to get into the Staff and Eyes On You areas, they have vicious kittens guarding those areas, trust me ;)

The East side is the secret side of town including the musical sector of B-frame (http://forums.eyesonff.com/mframe.html) and B00B's personal Pron site. Its so hard to get into its like being eaten by a rabbits, you so want it to happen but you know it never will.

The final area is the one you stand in now, ground-zero square in the town center, known to an unspecified few as General Chat (http://forums.eyesonff.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2). Along with this abismal and sometimes scary place theres the Eyes on You (http://forums.eyesonff.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4) sector and the lounge (http://forums.eyesonff.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21) in this central hub.
