calling a bomb threat is illegal, but when I was out of HS they happened. People would call annonymously from phone booths or something, say there was a bomb at the school, and thus the school was evacuated. Yay easy, low-cost substitute for a sick note :D

Not in the time I've been at this school, but when my brother went here there were several. I'm glad we haven't had any for a few years.

We had one a few weeks ago. The exact date is in my LJ. They didn't evacuate the school. They kept us all in our classes. Shows us what they think of us...:mad:

The local hicktown bank got a bomb threat once...LOL.

Oh and the KFC nearest to me got a bomb threat once too.

Too bad these were just stupid pranks though. I wish a big nuke would come and blow this place to hell...it'd be doing humanity a huge favor.

One of the best weeks of school involved having a fire on Wednesday and then a bomb scare on Friday. Lots of sitting around outside in the sun :D

There's not been a bomb threat at my university in the time I've been there... but last Monday, in my Criminal Law midsessional exam, there was a question about a guy making a bomb threat against a chicken farm.:choc:

My high school's never gotten a real bomb threat, but sometimes rumors go around and all the students take it as an excuse not to go to school. For some reasons Hitler's Birthday became an unofficial holiday after a couple years.

Yeeeep, and it was actually two of my friends who did it. o_o' All the students had to go outside for like, 2 hours. My friends ended up being caught and had to go to a different school for bad kids. =] Stupid them.

My old school used to get bomb threats all the itme.I never took them seriously though...it just meant time out of class to go hang out with my friends. and it was never on the news...just goes to show how people are about the Southside..(of Atlanta)

My school gets bomb threats fairly often. Usually there are at least two or three a year, but they never take them seriously. It's always awesome, because we get to sit in class and do nothing. Anyone who actually put a bomb in my school would be wasting a bomb.

Yea, we had a few back when I was in high school... they were dumb and I didn't like sitting outside doing nothing... there was one bomb that nobody called in that went off in a locker, but it was pretty small and only charred a couple lockers. Nothing serious.

My town had a bomb threat, only it wasn't actually a threat.

Someone had dropped a silver flask in a huge department store, so the police went into overdrive and blocked all ways into the town centre, then denotated the flask. IT WAS JUST A FLASK SOMEONE DROPPED. And there was another bomb that day too, in a bank, but that wasn't a real bomb either but I forgot what it was.

I live in england and there havn't been any bomb threats since the IRA died down.

There was a bomb threat called into the courthouse across the street from the bank my mom works at. It was a pretty scary time.
