which map did u have the most fun exploring?
i,ll be boring and say ff7. that was a beauty and i could never got bored of going to clouds villa and just back packing up to the mountain by northern cave :D
ff6 would be a close second though. the beauty and darkness of the two contrasting maps, pure genius.

I liked VI's maps the best. I loved how after you cleared one world map you pretty much had an all new second one to explore.

I would say FF7 also because I know it so well. I also really enjoyed the one on FFIX.

hhhmm, either FF7; becasue of the amount of different places that where so original, and that if you flew past cosmo canyon you could see the sun set, :) and FF9 this is also a good map that i like with the mist and the air ship :) good stuff

FFx didn't have a walkable world map.

FF8 Totaly! sky changing over Esther, Deling and Dollet was realy cool and all the cool places to get to, not to mention flying around with the Ragnorak.
I might have actualy enjoyed ffx if you could ACTUALY fly, sail, and walk on it....did they just get lazy or what?
FFIX's was really good because it looked good and the towns, cities, villages, etc., were really lively. Hunting for buried treasure was cool too. Second would probably be FFVII's.
FFIX's had pretty good structure, although many parts were pretty much barren. However, I've always found it easiest to navigate wihtout help of the onscreen map, so I suppose it's the best designed.

I said FFiv, cause there's 3 of them. But, I'd choose the green one. I'd just love to be in a medieval type of world.
