I'd live in Galbadia Garden. Not that I like the desert, but at least it's a Garden that isn't stuck on an island. Being stuck on islands drives me crazy.

As for the rest:
WEAPON: Cardinal (It's Gothic Black and Red OMFG!)
GFs: Bahamut (Str-J, Str+60%, Abilityx4), Pandemona (Spd-J, Spd+40%), Leviathan (Recover), Diablos (HP-J, HP+80%), Carbuncle (Vit-J, Vit+40%, St-Atk-J, St-Def-Jx4)

This way, I attack at long range, deal a lot of damage, deal it quickly, fully heal myself at will, and be able to take a lot of hits before needing to heal. I r teh uber-warrior!

GFs should be chosen for more reasons than their damage capabilities. Notice mine if you will; they're selected to give me insane stats via Junctioning.

Those amnesia greens or scrolls or whatever their called can get rid of their worthless abilities, and you can buy scrolls for all the important stat junctions. Most of the command abilities are only useful in situations I don't allow myself to get into. If it really hits the fan, drop a tripled aura on the party and down a holy war, then commence to stomping.

Not too worried about junctioning for elemental or status effects, it's helpful, don't get me wrong, but you can live without them.

Besides, I've got the ragnarok to fly around in, I can just do strafing runs on the monsters until their dead from the safety and comfort of my badace ship.
