View Full Version : The Eyes on Final Fantasy Soundtrack 2004

I remember way back in the early years that EoFF had created a soundtrack which had probably 12 songs. I don't remember what's even on the last soundtrack, so I thought it would be nice to have another EoFF Soundtrack made. So, what's gonna be in this soundtrack? It can be any song you decide. I shall limit the number of songs on it to between 10-16 songs. You can nominate any song you would like in the Soundtrack.

So what songs would you like to see in an Eyes on Final Fantasy Soundtrack? I will not be in control of which song will be officially selected in the soundtrack. I was hoping that the staff will have the final say of what song to add and must limit it to 10-16 songs.

As for me, I would like to see "Eyes on Me" by Faye Wong. (Obviously) :p

If there's enough support for this... who know what could happen. :D

Just to clarify, do the songs have to be from FF games?

Take care all.

Agent Proto

Nah, not necessary. I remember on the last soundtrack, they had Green Day's "Good Riddance" in it.

You know any good voice recording programs? I want a piece of this.

Galadrius

Well, since it doesn't have to be FF-related...

"Float On" - Modest Mouse

"Boyfriend", "Cinderella", "real Emotion" and "1000 Words" all by Sweetbox.

"Float On" - Modest Mouse

I like your suggestion. That could possibly be in it, but it's too early to tell, and there are more songs to be suggested. I would like to see this in the soundtrack.

Click, Click, Boom is by Saliva.

That song by Modest Mouse is overrated and terrible.

That song by Modest Mouse is overrated and terrible.

There new album isn't too great, either, which is bad because it's the one making them all popular and stuff when "The Moon and Antartica" is clearly 100000000000 times better.

Eh. Radiohead - No Suprises
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

Dunno. I'm not in the thinking mood right now.

Kirobaito

Make sure the Transformers theme is on it, if anything as an EoFF b-day present to moi.

If you don't have Greenday's Good Riddance on it (even if it is a new soundtrack), that would be like a sin... otherwise:

Nait, RSL, Rye and BoB: Battle of the Britneys.

After a long time shortlisting, here's my ideal soundtrack for EoFF:

1. Greenday - Good Riddance
2. Mäjken - Cruel Angel's Thesis
3. Blink 182 - Adam's Song
4. Vitamin C - The Graduation Song
5. Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee)
6. the goo goo dolls - Name
7. The Kinks - Lola
8. Train - Drops of Jupiter
9. The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go
10. Strong Bad - fhqwhgads
11. Sarah McLachlan - Dear God
12. Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper
13. Club Nouveau - Lean On Me
14. Faye Wong - Eyes On Me
15. Eve 6 - Here's To The Night
16. Oasis - All Around The World
17. Monty Python - Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life
18. Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me)

73:40 long, mind you. :(

My song on the original EoFF CD (which I still have, btw) was "I'll Be There" by Megadeth.

Today, I'd probably go with "Nervous" by Arlibido or "Aside" by the Weakerthans.

EDIT: And the key to the original EoFF CD was that the song you picked had to represent you in some way. Going from "I'll Be There" to "Nervous" kind of shows how I've developed over the years.

I don't remember what everybody's songs were...Cid had Adam's Song, Skanker had Chick Magnet, Unne had Adagio by Albinoni, RSL had some Korn song that I hated, and Asorie had something really, really horrible.

Erdrick Holmes

BoB, I can't friggin' stand that song "Good Riddance".
There is zero chance that we can satisfy everyone. I say that one should be on not only because it's great, but also because it is the only song that has been pretty much labelled "EoFF's song."

HOOTERS

Jump Around - House of Pain
DMX - Party up
Beyonce - Crazy in Love
Sir Mixalot - Baby got back

Nait, RSL, Rye and BoB: Battle of the Britneys.

xD That should totally be an eoff single.

And yeah, you gotta have Sir Mixalot - Baby got back.

10. Strong Bad - fhqwhgads

Possibly the best song ever.

The only song I can think of is Smash Mouth - All Stars.

05-27-2004, 05:16 PM
The only song I can think of isn't even any good. It's Ash-Walking Barefoot. A song that reminds me of EoFF during the summer of 2002, when life was simple, and we all joined together in peace and harmony and...things were generally more fun.

Citizen Bleys
05-27-2004, 05:32 PM
Are we talking about the same summer? I remember it being rough.

2002, the year Neverwinter Nights came out?

Hardly halcyon, in my recollection.

The fall was pretty good, but the summer?

Agent Proto
05-27-2004, 05:36 PM
Different perspective Bleys. His summer was good.

That reminds me, I'd like to add "Boys of Summer" - The Ataris

But it won't be distributed it will be just officially designated as the EoFF Soundtrack and some of the avatar and sig makers will probably knock up a front and back cover for it for people to print off :D

Okay. Here's the thing. You mooks are just throwing out your current favorite songs. This is stupid. The "soundtrack to EoFF" should have songs that relate to EoFF. Eyes on Me and Spam are the only two I've seen so far that relate to EoFF. Granted I only read half the thread before taking off my hat and vomiting into it, but y'know. I didn't expect things to get better than that.

So think a little people. This isn't "Pick a Random Song Off Your WinAmp Playlist". Yeesh.

"Good Riddance" is the "official song" of everywhere. People always act like it's some deeply personal song to their group. But, really, any group anywhere in all the history of mankind has claimed it as "their song." Even Al-Qaeda.

Days of the Phoenix by AFI. The reason I chose it is because of the title and it talks about falling into fantasy in the song.
