This is probably UK exclusive. My sincerest apologies to all those who have never had the pleasure of seeing this advertisement.

In my opinion, this is without a doubt the best ad of all time. Better than the Honda Cog ad, better than the John Smith's 'No Nonsense' ads, better than anything else I can think of. The sheer hilarity of this broadcast gave it instant cult status in my school, and I almost cried when I saw it for the first time, it was so beautifully awful (if such a thing is possible). It's just a shame that it wasn't shown for longer. 'I Love Horses' could have spread throughout the world!

So, I have a few questions:
1) Have you seen this wonderful advert?
2) Do you agree that it is man's greatest achievement since the moon landing?
3) Did you, like me, seriously consider purchasing the magazine on the strength of this advertisement?

I don't know what you're talking about and it makes me sad that I'm missing out on the fun.

I'm British, and I have no idea what you're talking about. O_o

This does remind me of Father Dougal Maguire's rendition of "My Lovely Horse" (http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~zsa_zsa/frted/Divine%20Comedy%20-%20My%20Lovely%20Horse.mp3), though. xD

Hmm. The advert was only seen on a couple of occasions, so I'm not surprised that you missed it.

Good news, though. I have found the official I Love Horses (http://www.deagostini.co.uk/ilovehorses/index.php) website, which plays an abridged version of the song whenever you open it! It's not as good as the full ad, but still marvellous.

Yep I seen that one. It achieved cult status amongst my peers at uni also. Very stupid but in an amusing way that makes you sing it to the first person you see every morning.

1) No
2) NO!
3) DEAR GOD NO!

That song is so infectious. I always get it in my head, so I end up singing it and annoying everyone else too.

Guess what? Its in my head!

I honestly think that the horse song should be released as a stand-alone single. Think of the sales potential!

Sorry to anyone who didn't enjoy it. I guess I hyped it up a bit too much.

*Loves Father Ted, too.*
