I ran the Benchmark 2 program on my comp, it was a bit laggy and I got a score of 1225. Is that good enough (I know that 1500 is standard). Will it be fine when I get the game? I have:
Windows XP
256MB RAM
Pentium 4 Processor 1.6Ghz
Ge Force MX 2 (doesn't reach reccommend specs, just min)
10GB hard drive space
Direct X 9.0b
512k Broadband

All of these reach or exceed the reccommended stats on PlayOnline.com but I only get a score of 1225. Does the graphics card matter THAT much? If so, I'm going to get a Ge Force FX 5200 for £60. Is it worth it? Is it good? Thanks for your help all

PS. Preferably I'd rather not get the graphics card as I am already shedding £110 for the game (I need a wireless network (£80) ya see.

Your RAM is low. I think that 512 is required and 1024+ is recommended. You might be able to run the game with the lowest graphics settings, but it won't be as pretty and you'll get a lot of frame skipping, especially when there are a lot of people around.

Thanks for the help but I beleive the min is 128MB RAM and the reccommended is 256MB RAM. go to http://www.playonline.com/ and check if you want.

Okay, I could be wrong.

Either way I don't know if your system can handle it. My computer specs are:
Windows 2000
1024MB DDR RAM
Pentium 4 Processor 2.0Ghz
NVidia 32Meg graphics card (this is definitely the bottleneck)
lotsa hard drive space
1.5M Broadband

And it gets a little choppy when I have all of the graphics settings cranked up.

Hope this helps.
