GP at Gold Saucer (minor spoilers)

I already know how GP works, but I was wondering about the guy who you can buy GP from in the main entrance. I've heard that's there's a random chance he'll appear in the vicinity of the small hut with three windows.

Does he visibly appear, or do you have to run up and inspect the hut every time?

Is he inside the hut or outside of it?

If he's inside, can you enter the hut or do you approach a window?

You can see him and he stands outside the hut, but he may be a little hard to see.

He's outside, and you should notice a difference when he is there, to when he isn't without having to run up and check. It takes sooo many goes sometimes though and you'll have to keep leaving the whole area and coming back (not just going in and out of the Gold Saucer entrance).

I can't remember what it looks like exactly but I'm sure he's definately visible as something. If you go there and everything looks normal check by going up the hut and pressing everywhere, if he's definately not there then, you should notice when he is.
