How come you wont allow quote pyramids?

Look:

:monster:

They don't even stretch the tables, plus they have the added benefit of annoying staff members.

I think they should be allowed, especially for me.

Discuss Agree.

EDIT: Leeza will back me up. :smash:

I don't particularly care, as long as it's not overused or they're "in context" - it's Yams going around deleting them as far as I can tell :p

Del Murder

They were amusing in the thread in this forum but now we've all seen it so we don't need any more. They are big and spammy and pointless. Yes they stretch tables if you make them big enough. If you want you may link people to the Feedback thread you first put it in if you want others to view them. Otherwise I will delete them and replace it with a cookie monster smiley, which is much smaller, cuter, and cooler.

Yams should lose mod privileges for such an outrage.

Actually I don't care. Let's dance the pumpkin dance!

They wouldn't stretch the tables if you made the tables 5000%

Some cool things get old or overdone. These pyramids were very much one of those things. They just mean I have to scroll more and that sucks so yay for Yams.

You have to redefine your act, Hoot. You have to keep fresh or risk becoming old. You can't rely on one success to carry on throughout your life.

Hey, Yams, what's your problem? A SIG? That's just no cool, man. Especially one that says what it says.

Anyway, it was funny at first, but now it's just stupid. And plus the cookie monster smiley is uber-cool.

we have constructed a massive ziggurat in hyperspace. we don't know why it's there. It's purpose will become known eventually.

I agree with Hooters to the extent that some of you are just being serious and kinda mean. Not that it would be mean to not allow pyramids, because I don't care about them either, but some of you just have this cocky and too uptight tone how you answer ( and this is common in feedback forum) and it's very unpleasant and annoying to read in here. Lots of you should be like Leeza...Kishi and BOU. :) Not that I'd be advicing you how to do your jobs...haha, hell now, but just this certain thing.

Just loosen up a bit and stop trying to make people like morons. I don't think it'll cause a 'discipline problem'.

Yes, pyramiods sucks Hooters. :)

That's not tight-arsed, it's exterminating horrible blemishes on the face of this fine forum.

Yes, I'm saying that quote pyramids are equivalent to cockroaches.

HOOTERS
06-05-2004, 06:01 AM
Is this what we do with horrible blemishes here now? Just cast them aside? I thought Faris_The_Guy was just banned for the hell of it.

Yes it was a horrible blemish, but it was my horrible blemish, I wasn't doing it to be funny or annoy anyone well maybe just a little bit but even when I down-sized it so it wouldn't stretch the tables it was still not welcome. You took away porn, the study hall and now this. Not that I care, I was drunk the other night and didnt know what I was talking about (except for the tight arse thing :smash:).

Now to forget this whole debacle and delete this thread.

Oh wait...

There was a pretty bloody good reason FTG got banned. That's not a standard line of staff bull, because if it was, I wouldn't be repeating it now. I don't have to say anything that I think is bull anymore.

I'm almost tempted to blab out the whole tale of what happened with FTG, but I'm not quite that much of an asshole.

FTG was framed! HE TOLD ME SO YESTERDAY! (And Bleys, he still thinks you own EoFF)

Anyway, it's not his fault your staff forum security is lax :) (He told me that there aren't even orgies on there! What a let down!)

FREE FARIS_THE_GUY!

Although, I heard from I think it was Spat that FTG was not banned for going on the staff forum, but got banned for calling Rye a slag, even though FTG, being an innocent little 12 year old, had no idea what it meant.

CONSPIRACY! FREE FARIS_THE_GUY!!!!!!

The Man

FTG was banned not for viewing the staff forum but for telling people what was going on inside the staff forum, from what I've heard. It makes sense. I've mistakenly had staff access at boards before (Kraptastica and FF:WA for starters) where I wasn't supposed to be staff, but I didn't say anthing about what I read in there 'cause really, it's the sensible thing to do. You get let in on a secret, you don't go blab it out to everyone and expect no consequences.
