Which Final Fantasy games are the best?

I used to play final fantasy games until my PS2 broke :mad2: . Now I am hopefully going to get a new PS2 and get some good Final Fantasy games for it :D . But I don't know which ones to get. The ones that I will get for sure are VIII, X and X-2. Do you guys recommend any others :choc: .

If you do get FFIX, don't get too addicted to the futuristic gameplay of VII and VIII, or you might find yourself disappointed and not really appreciating the game for what it's really worth.

Some older FFs would be beneficial too. VI especially.

Actually, I own IX! Its the only I have left that works. It will still play on my PS2 because the back on it is blue. I am thinking of selling my ps2 on ebay and buying a new one at walmart, or do you guys know how to fix these?

FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFX-2 (only if you like FFX), and FFT. Those are all great, and also the only ones I've played and beaten (I've played others, but never finished them :().

IV,VI,VII and Tactics are all you really need. The others are meh.

Just play them all, and see which you like. They're all good in their own way, just depends what you like. ^_^

Oh and get Kingdom Hearts, it's wonderful.

I also liked Ehrgeiz. After unlocking them, you can play as Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie, and Sephiroth. It's also got an RPG mode, but that was kind of boring to me. I just liked the fighting parts :D. In one of the arenas, you can see a giant moogle doll (like what Cait Sith was using to move around...Cait Sith was actually the purple cat on top) above an exit.

Oh yeah, you can play as Zack too, but all his moves are the same as Cloud's.

VII. Even though it has dated graphics, it's still the best of the three in my humble opinion.

final fantasy II is kind of fun. and come on is it not just cool how you can get strong by just beating the liveing s**t out of you self. now thats just funny :p
