How funny was that show. With his eye child and the broccoli. Classic.

Wonderful, purely wonderful.

I marvel at the special effects of the floating objects and of the helicopters, or the Scotch Mist, oh god, the Scotch Mist.

Though, I do have a hard time distinguishing Kingdom Hospital and Darkplace sometimes, since they seem to have pretty much the same concept of an evil hospital, only Kingdom Hospital is serious or something.

Well, they use the same odd cars to drive around underground tunnels at least.

P.S. Kingdom Hospital sucks.

darkplace had some great acting in it, and as one of the actors said on the monkey episode "i would of thought the make up would look dated but it didn't at all"

Yeah that was great, but what let me down about that was the actor who played Dr. Rick Dagless MD and Garth Marenghi also played as the computer geek who is good at go-karts from the office

No books exist that are written by Garth Marenghi because he is a fictional
character, you can read up on this at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garth_Marenghi
I know I was disapointed because I love the show and if he was a legit author I probably would have bought a book. Also the show was not filmed in the seventies/80's but was filmed using the production values of those times, ex. no amazing special effects, etc. You can read more on this at

Who knows as the popularity grows someone might write a book under his name. lol
